Illinois State is a public university offering outstanding undergraduate and graduate programs in more than 188 fields of study. At Illinois State, students receive individualized attention from professors, 98 percent of whom hold the highest degrees in their field.
Illinois State University offers graduate assistantships that include a monthly stipend. The amount varies depending on the number of hours required, student status, source of the funding, or nature of the assistantship assignment. To be eligible for an assistantship students must: be admitted as a degree student in a graduate academic program OR have a minimum of 120 undergraduate hours if in an integrated degree program OR be enrolled full time during the contract period and maintain good academic standing.
