Computer Lab
« on: September 23, 2012, 09:23:19 PM »
Our University is one of the most digital universities around not only in Bangladesh but also in the world. Technologically it has a good rank. But it is a matter of sorrow that our computer lab is not secure from virus attack. There is no updated antivirus in our computers. Our student and teacher all suffer with this problem. We need a secure computer lab.

This is not true our computer lab is fully updated all software are installed and all computer of our computer lab used Deepfreeze software so every restart computer clean all virus. No virus can affect our computer. But  we  should need to more careful to use our pen drive   some time our pen drive is full of virus but we are not use this thing carefully . Our lab use license antivirus Kaspersky but we don’t use it properly. If we are careful then no virus  affects our computer. It is also mentioned that i have found one exclusive new laboratory this semester. We should
appreciate our authority  for improving all facility day by day

Deepfreeze can take back the computer to the previous state. It can't remove the infected files. If there was infected files before installing Deepfreeze it can't do anything. And some of our computer have Kaspersky antyvirus but that is not updated. In example there is a infection which create some shortcut (like copy of shortcut 1, copy of shortcut 2, copy of shortcut 3, copy of shortcut 4 etc). without a updated version of kaspersky it can not be detected. I personally tried it. The previous version can't remove the infection.
