« on: May 20, 2010, 02:47:52 PM »
Introduction:
Daffodil International University (DIU) was authorized on 1/1/2004 to work as Cisco Networking Academy in Bangladesh. It has been observed that Computer and Internet-based Technologies have become the key economic drive and fundamental force to financial growth of the 21st century. The prime objectives of the program are demand-based curriculum, hands-on labs, perfect instruction, training, support and preparation for industry-based certification. Considering Bangladesh and the global context, DIU arranges courses for the students and professionals to face challenge of the worldwide growing needs of networking of the present century.

Cisco Networking Academy Expands Offerings to Address Growing Demand for Information Security Skills. It is mentioned that recently DIU has got an approval for CCNA Security. Very soon, we are going to offer this course in your beloved university. You know, Security continues to grow and impact highest roles in IT. If security is your passion, a CCNA Security is the ultimate certification challenge to lead you to a career in managing and creating end-to-end secure networks.

The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) recognized that Cisco security courseware meets the 4013A training standard. This advanced standard is intended for System Administrators responsible for the security oversight or management of critical networks. This formal NSA and CNSS certification gives Cisco the authority to recognize those candidates who have demonstrated that they have met this training standard. Candidates who have met the standard will be issued a letter of recognition acknowledging their completion of the related requirements. This letter of recognition can be used as confirmation of having met the requirements.
