It is an official invitation to take part in the unique cultural and educational experience, which will offer young people the possibility to touch first-hand the object of their international studies.The New York Global Young Leaders Summit International Model United Nations is established as the first and unique Summit in US aiming to gather students from the five continents and offering a higher-level atrium of confrontation and debate between culturally-diverse leaders, with the UN building as backdrop. Students representing the most prestigious universities of the world will assume the role of Ambassadors and UN representatives to discuss the global problems on behalf of the highest international Institutions.

At the NY-GYLS Int’l MUN participants will gain

Insight into the dynamics of international relations and practice the workings of the United Nations Organization through a completely realistic simulation.

The NY-GYLS Int’l MUN represents an exciting opportunity for students

      To discuss issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to global issues.

During the Summit, you will be able to learn
      The importance of balancing national interests with the needs of the international community, while also learning about the power and limitations of international negotiations.

       Leadership, critical analysis, public speaking, persuasion, negotiation Delegates will also have the chance to build strong new friendships that span across the globe.

The NY-GYLS Int’l MUN makes students closer
           To the current international issues, making them aware of the importance of fast, efficient and strategic solutions, and contributes to prepare the next generation of leaders.
Registration for the conference is now open. Regular registration closes on January 15th,
2013. Registration could be made both by the University/MUN Clubs/MUN Associations for a group of students or directly by each student.

In consideration of the high contribution your students would bring to the conference, ICCE would be glad to waive registration fees for 10 students from your University.

Students will be academically supported by our Conference Team and through a Delegate Guide to facilitate the understanding of the rules, style, goals of Model UN, and the research methods.
