Senior Management Programme (SMP)
« on: January 21, 2013, 11:23:14 AM »
Introduction

The world in the fast-evolving 21st century has grown more complex, in many forms, and in many fields. At the same time, economies in Asia and across the globe are struggling to maintain their growth and development. In parallel to these developments, cultural sensitivity and motivational management of people has become a vital component of business activity. The task of modern senior management is now more complex, challenging and multi-faceted.

To help meet this challenge, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKY School) at National University of Singapore is pleased to offer the 8th annual Senior Management Programme (SMP) on leadership and governance. Together with a distinguished team of experienced academics and practitioners, the four-week SMP will provide participants a holistic learning experience across a gamut of pertinent topics and equip them with the skills they require to have a positive impact on their organisations and society at large. All participants will benefit from a rigorous study of policies, framework, tools and cases.

JOIN THE SMP – An invaluable platform for participants from the world over to gather, discuss and exchange ideas on how societies are best governed and led in a globalising world.

Innovative & Leading-Edge Learning

Taking a step towards harnessing technology for executive learning, all SMP participants will receive each a complimentary tablet for use during and after the programme. Learning at the SMP will go paper-less and all programme materials, reading notes and slides will be wirelessly accessed via the tablet in the classroom. The use of this innovative tool will enhance participant’s learning experience, improve accessibility to the materials, and provide the latest information and updates. Subject to availability, the Apple iPad will be used for the upcoming SMP 2013.
