I am very proud for our library. We have a very rich collection. The environment is very friendly & helpful. Some times it becomes over crowded, especially during the mid term & Semester final exam time. Our main resource of study is our library of course. Some of our courses involve us with three or more books & it's not as a reference book but as a mandatory. This example would be very perfect that is in mathematics there are many rules, lot of books & many things to learn & practice. It would be very helpful for the student, if they consider carrying the books in home within the rules. I think our student will cooperate with the rules & not misuse this opportunity. I have a request to our library team to arrange a quiz on daily newspaper. It would be once in a semester. It will be great & more students will be interested to move to library door.

Even the largest library of our country does not allow the readers/subscribers to take books/ materials outside it.

The idea of conducting a quiz test in daily newspaper is a nice one.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your comments. If our principals is follow & copy others then it is fine. But all change will comes from Dhaka University or from USA, it is not mandatory. We can show new system, we can introduce new way & we belief it very much positively. So, positive change could start from Daffodil International University. No one have right to clam us for our positive work. Our main principal should be the student demand, of course not the others principals.

Thank you to appreciate me.

I have talk with my many friends & teacher about their library rules. After listen them, I'm shocked. Our largest university allows taking books in home. Some private university also allows taking book. Now I'm confused & in a puzzle.

Dear students

I am  very much pleased to see your comments and suggestions. Please download e-books(text & reference). We are sorry to agree with you to lend books at home from the library. Now available e-books & e-journals on our library website. Library remains open from Sat to Thu at 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and also Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You borrow books from the library for inside use  but e-books for ever. You can print your desired chapter(s). Some students are cutting book's pages, paper's pages and write telephone number, and odd comments rather than care. So we would be happy if library books are cared. If not cared those books never be used and students never borrow, then  it will be burden for the library. In this reason authorities have taken decisions only for  providing  e-books and e-resources. I would appreciate your request that would  be considered .

Dear all
There are still hard copy is needed. How many student use computer & internet? The electricity condition of our country does not help us to use computer & internet all the time.

Fortunately soon our "one student one laptop” will be start & then our online library & pdf books will be our best friend.

Unfortunately, we are existing students. So, DIU will not give us one student one laptop and recently which students get admission  of our university. Only they will get the laptop after one year.

 Dear librarian sir ,
I agree with you that sometimes we see books where pages r missing and there r also comments written in books.but it do not mean everyone will do it.And if your authority is strict them you can land books to student. You can check the book before landing and you can also check it when you are taking it.

and for e-books, everyone do not even know about it and its procedure to collect it.Many of our needed course books could not be found as e-books.And it the authority is determined to give studens e-books why don't they do it properly by posturing it everywhere in the campus.sorry for my hard words.
