In today’s job market it is far more important to have practical skills than theoretical knowledge. In the future, job applicants may not need any formal qualifications?

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The number of skilled labors seems to increase each year and the competition for each job is also increasing. Today it is fashionable to have high prestige education received in the one of best universities in the world. Although, to have a master degree with excellent marks does not mean you will be invited to the leading companies. Nowadays, it is invaluable to have more practical skills than theoretical ones. And I totally agree with this statement for several reasons.

In the first place, it requires no capital investments for the employers. As we have stepped into “The Informative age” many outstanding ideas and programs are created frequently. Therefore, employers have to spend huge money in their employees. Also it takes time but as we all know: Time is money.

Secondly, some theoretical knowledge has been becoming old-fashioned every year. Actually, most of information that is given in colleges and universities cannot be use in a practice.

As it was previously stated, employers are in need of specialists with huge practical skills that workers can use immediately without extra education. Because of market demand that changes every day, people have to adapt to new requirements. Maybe we really may not need any formal qualifications in the near future.[/b]
