Myths about Open source Software

Myth 1: Open source software is more/less secure than proprietary


Myth 2: Many eyes makes for secure code.


Myth 3: Bad people can look at the source code, so it's less secure

Myth 4: If  my software is given to the Open Source community, thousands of developers will suddenly start working & developing for this software or for nothing

Myth 5: Big companies don't use open source software.

Myth 6: Linux is harder to use than Windows.

Myth 7: Linux is not compatible with Windows.

Myth 8: Open Source Software Isn't Reliable or Supported.

Myth 9: Open Source is all about infrastructure
