I don't know why the idea never hit me quite right...like living in somebody else's place and letting others (strangers) stay in my place :/

 It  is a kind of volunteer service. You must have a welcoming attitude to strangers. But before confirming one's request to host him, you can verify his or her personal details.

Yes, Tina madam.

Personally, I love to explore. I desire to meet and know people around the world.At times, it's hard to let them stay at my house because of many issues. I allowed one couple to stay in my residence. They were wonderful. :) At the same time, I  refused some requests. :( :(
