Summery and Descriptions:
ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), the national trade body for Software & IT Enabled Services industry of Bangladesh is jointly organizing this mega exposition & conference ‘Digital World 2014’ from 4th June, 2014 to 7th June, 2014, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Around 400 exhibitors from Bangladesh and abroad will participate in the event.
Daffodil Placement & Presence:
Daffodil Group Pavilion was in the Milkeyway of BICC Main ground floor. This year we got a very good place with big free space of both side of the fair. Daffodil Pavilion number was 09.
Focus & Objective:
Objective was to promote Daffodil Softwares and research more people and corporate bodies. Inform all that we have lots of solution for corporate and general business. Also focus for the Daffodil International University too.
Due to soft expo 2013 was not held in 2013 and it is a combined effert of softexpo, mobile expo and govt. expo Daffodil has presence the whole Daffodil Group specially Daffodil Software, Daffodil Web & E-Commerce and Daffodil International University products. In addition we have presence DIIT,DJIT,DIPTI and BSDI campaign and distribution of brochures too.
To caught B2B and B2C was our main target.
Plans of making event successful:
Planning and Preparing Budget for following works :
(1)   Pavilion Design
(2)   Pavilion Branding and printing
(3)   Short training to the 9 DIU Students for display the products.
(4)   Follow the time schedule with Dress & color code.
(5)   Proper arrangement of Leaflet, Brochures.
(6)   Arrangement of Food and transport service.
(7)   Maintaining photography for marketing.
(8)   Facebook marketing for fair time promotions.
(9)   Arranging some corporate meeting schedules
(10)   Ensure Fair time Internet support.
(11)   Others admissible supports and service.

Cost effective Pavilion design:
     
We have selected pavilion from KREATIVE CELL organized by a numbers Ex. of students from DIU. Their initial costing for this pavilion was Tk. 2,80,000/=. We have fixed the price is Tk. 1,65,000/- with printing.






Branding & Brochure Design:
Stall branding and a short A4 size software Brochure designed by me Rafiqul Alam and Mr. Ismail. A promotional mpeg4 for LCD TV materials made by Mr. Hafiz.
     
Brand display & Representative:
Trained 9 numbers of Students from Business Department and CSE were representative of Daffodil Group Products presenters. Mr. Rashed Karim and Me (Mr. Rubel) were on duty in the fair timing too.
Activity in the Fair time:
Fair Timing: From 10AM - 8PM
We have a main reception and six stand for different kinds of products display. 6 (Six) laptops for display software and web applications, one Tablet for Apps display. 
Visitors List:
We have 4 categories visitor list based on products. A list is attached at the last with this report.

B ) We have started to Phone Calls to the visitor based on their requirements and hopping success 25% of this.

Findings and future Corrections :
1)   We have to emphasis on Garments Sectors software with HRM. PF, LC and Garments.
2)   More concentrate on Mobile Apps and animations. 
3)   Internet Connection should be excellent in the fair and from own site.
4)   Some activities and some offer should be disclosed before the fair and showing it in to Branding.
5)   Fair Representative should get some more training about our whole groups. More knowledgeable.

This is excellent write-up. Students and the others people can learn from it. they can learn what is the complete process of event and fair.
