1. Attitude

How entrepreneurs think and behave – and how that helps them to deal with the many challenges they face. We examine how you can develop those attitudes, and handle the contradictions they seem to present.

2. Opportunity

How entrepreneurs find or create opportunities – and how they maximise them to create great businesses.

3. Focus

Once they have an opportunity, entrepreneurs are masters at marshalling people and resources and focussing their time and energy on the opportunity. We look at how you can gain superb personal focus, and then focus your company and your team

4. Talent

The best entrepreneurial companies manage to attract the best talent before they’re even out of the starting gate – then they seem to be able to bring out the very best in these people. At the same time these entrepreneurs manage the difficult balancing act of keeping this creating melting pot under control without stifling ideas. How is this achieved?

5. Planning

The popular image may be of entrepreneurs working ‘on the hoof’ but it’s simply not true. They have firm, clear plans – but they also ensure they have a good enough Radar system and contingency plans to be able to spot trouble and change course, in a planned way, when necessary.

6. Communication

Entrepreneurs are masters at communicating with their team, their customers and the media. They have a clear, uncomplicated style of communication that wins hearts and minds.

Being an entrepreneur is about more than just starting a business or two, it is about having attitude and the drive to succeed in business. All successful Entrepreneurs have a similar way of thinking and posses several key personal qualities that make them so successful in business. Successful entrepreneurs like the ambitious Richard Branson have an inner drive to succeed and grow their business, rather than having a Harvard Business degree or technical knowledge in a particular field.

All successful entrepreneurs have the following qualities:

Inner Drive to Succeed
Entrepreneurs are driven to succeed and expand their business. They see the bigger picture and are often very ambitious. Entrepreneurs set massive goals for themselves and stay committed to achieving them regardless of the obstacles that get in the way.

Strong Belief in themselves
Successful entrepreneurs have a healthy opinion of themselves and often have a strong and assertive personality. They are focused and determined to achieve their goals and believe completely in their ability to achieve them. Their self optimism can often been seen by others as flamboyance or arrogance but entrepreneurs are just too focused to spend too much time thinking about un-constructive criticism.

Search for New Ideas and Innovation
All entrepreneurs have a passionate desire to do things better and to improve their products or service. They are constantly looking for ways to improve. They're creative, innovative and resourceful.

Openness to Change
If something is not working for them they simply change. Entrepreneurs know the importance of keeping on top of their industry and the only way to being number one is to evolve and change with the times. They're up to date with the latest technology or service techniques and are always ready to change if they see a new opportunity arise.

Competitive by Nature
Successful entrepreneurs thrive on competition. The only way to reach their goals and live up to their self imposed high standards is to compete with other successful businesses.

Highly Motivated and Energetic
Entrepreneurs are always on the move, full of energy and highly motivated. They are driven to succeed and have an abundance of self motivation. The high standards and ambition of many entrepreneurs demand that they have to be motivated!

Accepting of Constructive Criticism and Rejection
Innovative entrepreneurs are often at the forefront of their industry so they hear the words "it can't be done" quite a bit. They readjust their path if the criticism is constructive and useful to their overall plan, otherwise they will simply disregard the comments as pessimism. Also, the best entrepreneurs know that rejection and obstacles are a part of any leading business and they deal with them appropriately.

True entrepreneurs are resourceful, passionate and driven to succeed and improve. They're pioneers and are comfortable fighting on the frontline The great ones are ready to be laughed at and criticized in the beginning because they can see their path ahead and are too busy working towards their dream.

I saw this successful man's interview on BBC. Mr. Vineet Nayar, a successful entrepreneur, CEO of HCL Technologies gave a new thought saying: Employees First, Customers  Second

The relationship between employees and their place of work is critical to the overall success of any business. Are your employees made to feel like active participants in your company?

"87 per cent of HCL Technologies’ employees are aged under 30.They have fresh ideas and no baggage, no history to unlearn, no methods that are ingrained. When business models change and the parameters of business success shift, we need fresh thinking.” - Anand Pillai, SVP, HCL Technologies

BE YOUR OWN BOSS

Generally speaking if you want commitment from your staff then you have to demonstrate to your team that the executive team share that commitment..

First of all manage yourself with controlling power which is given by Almighty.
BOSS::Sounds good but Leader should take place what i said about it should be manage, communicate, control, take action with effective tools..so have it then be your own Leader not BOSS.....

Richard Branson: Founder of Virgin Group
When you first start a business you need a lot of support. Start-Up Loans provides funds and mentorship to help get new businesses off the ground.

Here are five tips for a new generation of entrepreneurs that came out of the day:

1. Get the business model right
Neil Stephenson, CEO of Onyx Group, stressed the importance of making sure your business model works. You need to find a market that is ripe for disruption and make sure your product is better than your competitors - having a sound business model will help you to do this. If you have a great product and a brilliant team then success is far more likely.

2. Trust your instincts
Sam Driver, Director of Thousand Yard Films, highlighted how crucial it is to trust your instincts. I have made hundreds of decisions that accountants and lawyers completely disagreed with, because I had a feeling they would work. Sometimes the rulebook is only there to be thrown out, and the right decision is your initial instinct.

3. It's down to you
Ellie Fox, Founder of Ticky Turner, said that if you don’t do it, nobody else will. Personally, I would advise learning the art of delegation and finding like-minded people to work alongside. Then you can free up more of your own time to think about moving your business forward. If there are not enough days in the week, work smarter not longer.

4. Believe in what you do
Jason Petsch, Commercial Director of GRITIT, pointed out why entrepreneurs need to have self-confidence. This isn’t arrogance, it’s belief that what you are doing can make a positive difference to people’s lives. If you don’t believe in what you do, who else will?

5. Give it a go
The great thing is these people are just getting on and doing it. They are trying to learn from running a business and I think that is the best way of learning. You have to say ‘screw it, let’s do it’ and give it a go.

If you agree, perhaps you should come forward with a business plan and make an application too – there is still lots of funding available. Give it a go!

Those who worship the natural elements enter darkness (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). Those who worship sambhuti sink deeper in darkness. [Yajurveda 40:9]; Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol, etc.
