2.He puts trust on his friends.here,He-sub.,puts- verb,trust on his friend-object.


3.Finally the ministry finds no one to lead the project.here,the ministry-sub, finds-verb & no one to lead the project-object

'on his friend' is not the object only 'trust' is the object here

Answer: 'Trust is put by him on his friends'
and the other one you have answered- is right.

See this:

The door was opened. → [Someone] opened the door. ( passive)
The door was open. → The door was in the open state. (Active)

Sometime we are confused identifying passive voice,like:

I am surprised by his wierd gift.
I am totally surprised to see you.

Which one is passive and why?
