DIU library organized a two days' workshop on
Automation of Information Institution using Koha-ILS and MARC 21. Library professionals of public and private universities were participated in the workshop and learned hands-on practice on different modules of Koha. DIU library team have provided the training in the workshop for enhancing technical expertise. The target was to bring libraries of all universities under the same platform of Koha and MARC 21. This workshop was increased and focused the image of the DIU library in the whole country. All (28) participates were expressed their gratitude to the authority of DIU for organizing such type of professional training. They recommended and requested to the authority of DIU for continuing to arrange the training for developing of library professionals. Two renowned Professors, Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka were present in the workshop as special guest.
