Sometimes interactive activities can also be selected based on the students' interest. Thanks for nice ideas.

This article is full of practical examples and that's why I liked reading it. I loved the idea of showing 'cards' for maintaining peace in the classroom.  ;D
More focus on integrated and task-based teaching is given in language classes now. The other day a senior faculty member from other university was telling me, 'Who writes letters now-a-days? Rather expressing yourself in one text message is a pertinent issue. We (teachers) should be more practical.'
Thanks for sharing the article.  :)

I have one observation regarding creative task. When I ask my students to write a paragraph on a topic, most of  them start with a very weird sentence.Weird, in that sense, that they are given lectures on effective topic sentence, supporting details and other issues, even in time of writing they forget all these. My point is that we must make English classes interactive from class one.We need to change the overall scenario  of English teaching from the bottom. :)
