As an essential part of Art of Living course, a session with Parents titled “Art of Parents Day” held at DIU Auditorium on 1 and 2 April, 2016. Daffodil International University celebrated the triangular relationship of Parents-Students-Teachers in the Art of Parents Day in two days long sessions of 24 Sections from different departments. The whole session was conducted by Office of the Director of Students’ Affairs.

In this session Parents and Students have shared their thoughts and emotions. Parents throughout this session appreciated DIU authority that they have organized such great moments where everyone shared their feelings and got the opportunity to meet the higher authorities of DIU and spend some times with them in an intimate environment.This day helped every parents, children and teachers to know each other very well, to know what they want from each other.

In the first session, Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman (BoT) of DIU & Co-author of Art of Living and Brig. General (Retd.) Mirza Baker Sarwar Ahmed, former President of ISSB attended the session to share and inspire the triangle relationship of Parents-Students-Teachers. Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. FazlulHoque, Registrar of DIU attended the second slot where in the third and fourth slot Md. Masum Ahmed, UpazillaNirbahi Officer (UNO) of Mirzapur, Tangail, Professor A. M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Mr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Head of Business Administration, Mr. Masud Ibn Rahman, Associate Professor of Business Administration were celebrated Parents Day.

Students from this session promised thatthey will never send their parents to the Old Age Homes, where as they will nurture their Parents-children relationships andgive endless love to their parents.
