DIU organized an information sharing session on “Corporate Ethics and Role of a Whistleblower” under the course curricula of Art of Living on 29th May, 2016 at Daffodil International University.

Students of EEE of Daffodil International University organized a session on “Corporate Ethics and Role of a Whistleblower”. Mr. Ishtiaq Ahmed, CEO of Omera Petroleum was the key-note speaker of the session. Mr. Ahmed shared his real-life experience as a whistleblower to the students.

A whistleblower is a person who exposes any kind of information or activity that is deemed illegal, unethical or not correct within an organization that is either private or public.

“Ethics is easy to define but difficult to maintain”- said Mr. Ahmed. Success depends on how ethically sound you are and how much you respect others values.- later added by Mr. Ahmed.

Art of Living is a compulsory course to all students of DIU where students can get e clear and concise idea about standard living style as well as ethical values.

Mr Syed Mizanur rahman Raju, Head of journalism & Mass Communications, Ms. Sabiha Matin, Lecturer, Mr. N.M Zayed, Senior Lecturer, Mr. Rashadul Islam from Bangladesh Venture capital Ltd, were present in the session.
