Officer- Branches’ Record Keeping & Accounting Monitoring and Control
Job Grade: Junior Officer/ Officer /Senior Officer
Job Description / Responsibility
Checking of the Branches accounting entries and report any exceptions to Management and the concerned Branch for rectification
Tally GL balance with loan list
Checking realization of all upfront charges
Checking realization of unapplied interest/ early settlement charge at the time of adjustment
Checking of interest payment on premature deposit accounts
Tally GL balance with party ledger
Tally GL balance with the party wise outstanding
Ensure timely reversal of contingent liabilities
Report any long pending expired contingent liabilities.
Educational Requirements
Post graduate degree in business discipline with academic track record.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years progressive experience with reputed commercial banks with at least 2 years experience in Accounts/ Finance
Age
Not exceeding 33 years as on May 31, 2016.
Additional Job Requirements
Thorough knowledge in Banking operations.
Well conversant with Core Banking Software.
Able to apply sound independent judgment in addressing accounting issues.
