DIU Students attending Petra Summer Program 2016 in Indonesia
Seven students of Daffodil International University are currently attending the Petra Summer Program- 2016 at Petra Christian University, Indonesia from July 18 to August 5, 2016. This program is a huge opportunity for the Asian students to experience a magnificent cross cultural exchange in a glocal background. All these students are enrolled for three academic subjects in PSP-2016 and these subjects are Special Program for Industrial Challenge & Exposure (SPICE), Indonesian Tourism Campaign (ITC) and Indonesian Culinary Art (ICA). The goals of these credit based courses are to introduce the students of other countries with the Indonesian culture, history and build strong inter personal communication skill as every year PSP is attended by the students from different countries like South Korea, Hong- Kong, Malaysia, Bangladesh etc.
Not only academic activities but also different cultural exhibition, field trips, social activities are arranged for the participants. Team DIU is acting as the heart of PSP- 2016 as they are upholding the pride of Bangladesh through their performances. Their PSP- 2016 credits will be added to their academic transcripts of DIU as additional credits.
