One PhD position is open at the Technical University Dresden in the group of Frank Ortmann, which is funded through the Emmy Noether program of the German Research Foundation (DFG).

This PhD project will combine method development and first principles calculations for Organic Semiconductors. The research group is associated to the Dresden Center for Computational Materials Science and the Cluster of Excellence ‘Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden’ which offer a unique scientific environment.

The successful applicant should have a M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in theoretical condensed matter physics or theoretical chemistry, experience with numerical simulations and programming skills. More information can be found from the given link.
