"Eleven major stereotypes of Feminity" ???
« on: March 31, 2017, 10:33:39 PM »
Eleven major stereotypes of feminity as presented by male writers and critics:
1. Formlessness
2. Passivity
3. Instability
4. Confinement
5. Piety
6. Materiality
7. Spirituality
8. Irrationality
9. Compliancy
10. Witch
11. Shrew
Quoted from Moi's Sexual/Textual Politics, 33.
No doubt, all the stereotypes are gendered and socio-culturally constructed by patriarchy.

I have experienced shrewdness a lot in last 4 years, and I can tell you it is not gendered  and socio-culturally constructed by patriarchy  :D
