I am pleased to inform you that Ms Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Law, Daffodil International University will leave Dhaka on June 8, 2016 to attend the International Conference organized by International Academy of the Belt and Road in collaboration with Belt & Road Initiative Investment and Trade Promotion Association, China which will be held from June 10, 2016 to June 22, 2016 in Hong Kong and China.

In addition to the Conference, Ms Frahana has been invited to meet the government officials in Beijing and Xinjiang. She also has been invited to visit the Supreme People's Court of China, Ministry of Commerce and the famous Tsinghua University , which is known as the research university and one of the nine members in the elite C9 League of universities.

Ms Farhana has been selected as the Fellow of the International Academy of the Belt and Road which will be announced at the Third International Forum on the Belt and Road Initiative on 12 June 2016.

NOTICE


All the students of TE, DIU who are interested and have CGPA of 3.00 are being suggested to apply for membership in the executive committee of DIU Textile Club (DIUTC). There are both junior and senior positions. Therefore students preferably from L1T1 to L3T3 are being suggested to apply.


Documents to be submitted: (i) A cover letter, (ii) An academic CV with recommendation from a faculty member, (iii) Proof of extracurricular activities and any other documents to support your application, (iv) A proposal detailing your plan of activities if you are selected for the post.   

There will be three junior members from Evening, Uttara and Permanent Campus. Therefore students from Evening, Uttara and Permanent Campus are being suggested to apply.

Notice

Subject: Project, Industrial Attachment, & Comprehensive Viva

The Comprehensive Viva (TE-411) of Summer-2016 semester will be held from August 10, 2016 (Wednesday). Defense of Project (TE407/417/4214) of Spring- 2016 & Industrial attachment viva (TE410/418/431) of Summer-2016 will be held after completion of Comprehensive Viva (TE-411/419/432). Further details will be notified later. In this regard concerned students are suggested to keep ready one copy of their Project/Thesis & Internship report with CD and submit to the DIU library after completion of respective viva exam. Please note that, without proof of submission of CD we shall not process your result.


Both the project/thesis and industrial attachment report must be written as per DIU guidelines which is available in the DIU Forum or students can collect from their supervisors.


Students must clear their dues by August 09, 2016.

If anybody fails to clear his/her dues within the aforementioned date, his/her comprehensive viva, project presentation & industrial attachment will not be held.
