I realize that attending class everyday is very hard job for student. I have attitude like we are studying in private university by giving money, why we need to attend class. This is unbelievable but true...

thanks.

Classroom learning is of immense importance. From my point of view,

                      1. hearing the discussion in the class sharpens our memory
                      2. questions from one student can solve the problems of others

In the classroom students are involved with a number of tasks for example reading, listening, sharing, writing, and speaking which are important parts of learning. Students can also do the same thing when they use e-learning system. But they are not able to listen and speak when they learn from internet. Sometimes they may forget which they read or write (notes). But if they listen and speak about something it may remains on their back of mind. Though everything becomes techno based, the necessity of classroom learning is still significant.

Classroom learning is very important. Because only practical learning cannot fulfill our horizon of cognition and knowledge.

So, first comes concept development. Classroom acts as a incubator where students can be groomed to develop concept and theories in order to convert them into the practical learning outside the classroom.

Every students must be careful and attentive in the classroom. But very few students are attentive in the class. As if they only attend the class for getting the mentioned 7 marks for class attendance. It is really painful for a teacher. I think this the best way to make students understand different courses. then why don't they concentrate?

Tasnim Madam
Yes, i agree that it is sometimes painful for a teacher to make each and every student to be attentive when there are mixed-ability students in the classroom. However, it is very easy to make them listen to you if you can make proper eye contact to each individual and walk inside the rows among them. Sometimes students don't pay heed to a teacher if the subject matter seems to be difficult for them. The solution is to involve them sometimes in writing, sometimes in feedback, sometimes in colorful PowerPoint slides, sometimes in saying a joke or a story of a successful person....let us make them spellbound so that nobody can talk in the classroom. More when I will talk to you in person...

Sincere regards

Right sir!!!!!
I personally believe that class learning system shapes a student with core concept that can not be found in any other place! I saw that many students are very much unwilling to do some of the course teachers classes....(names are not mentioned). But to me, I found those classes very much interesting & attentive. I know that every students have there own opinion, But a teacher should always have the ability to ensure his/her beloved students the actual fun or the actual interest of the course. So both the students & the teacher must cooperate with each other.

Thank you.
