Engineering helps to invent, design, build, maintain, and improve all types of structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes.

Civil engineering is the engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of public works such as buildings, roads, bridges, water and energy systems as well as public facilities like ports, railways and airports.
