Present study was designed to evaluate a hypoglycemic activity of Polyalthia longifolia leaves ethanol extract of along with analgesic activity. Oral glucose tolerance test showed significant result at dose 500mg/kg body weight of mice but not significant at dose 250mg/kg compare to control group where metformin was used as a reference standard.
