Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 1: Lower screen brightness
Your Galaxy S10 has great looking colorful screen but that does come at a cost. The brighter the screen is, the more power the system requires to keep it going. Try to lower screen brightness to the lowest level you’re comfortable with and stick with it. If you want Android to automatically manage screen brightness, make sure that Adaptive Brightness feature is enabled. Adaptive Brightness lets Android to adjust screen brightness based on ambient light. If your environment has too much light, Adaptive Brightness will lower screen brightness on its own. So, if you’re outside under a clear sky, your screen will be brightened to allow you to see clearly. The opposite is true if you’re in the dark.
To enable Adaptive brightness, just pull down the notification bar from the top, tap on the drop down arrow, and toggle the switch for Adaptive brightness to on.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 2: Use Battery Usage feature to check on apps
Another way to improve your S10 battery life is by making sure that apps are managed well. Some apps may continue running in the background even if you’re not actively using them. Some may outright misbehave and cause unnecessary activities that may drain your battery. This can be due poor coding, glitch, or software incompatibility. We highly suggest that you watch apps that are regularly placed high in the Battery Usage feature. If a particular app or apps keep showing high in the list, even if you don’t use them. There may be a problem.
Some apps or widgets may be designed to constantly contact remote servers to get updated data. Apps like Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking apps are notorious for draining battery often as they are designed to regularly get new information from their servers. If you use a lot of such apps, they may be the reason why your battery is draining abnormally fast.
To check which of your apps drain battery power fast, do the following steps:
1.   Open Settings app.
2.   Tap Device Maintenance.
3.   Tap Battery.
4.   Tap Battery Usage.
By default, only system apps like Screen, Android system, Device idle, etc. should show at the top. If there’s a third party app that keeps taking their places in the list, that’s not good at all. Consider updating the app first and see if that will fix it. If not, just uninstall it to fix the problem.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 3: Restart device regularly
Some bugs may develop if a device has run for a long time. Temporary bugs due to prolonged operation tend to go away when a system is refreshed though so be sure to restart your device regularly. We suggest that you refresh the system at least once every few days. If you don’t think you can remember when to restart your phone regularly, don’t worry. Samsung has added a useful feature in your S10 that should allow the device to restart once every week. To do that, do these steps:
1.   Open Settings app.
2.   Tap Device Care.
3.   Tap the 3-dot at the top.
4.   Tap Auto restart.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 4: Use lower resolution
Although higher resolution makes great your display, it also can drain the battery faster than expected. The more pixels your screen shows, the more taxing it is for the system. Lowering screen resolution can go a long way if you intend to extend the life of your battery. By default, display settings on your S10 uses FHD+ (2280×1080). If you change this to WQHD+ (3040×1440), try reverting to FHD+ or lower.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 5:Stop using Always-On-Display
If you’re new to Samsung Galaxy devices, you may be wondering what Always-On-Display is. AOD is a useful feature that displays certain information like date and time, battery level, etc. even if the screen is turned off. Samsung claims that AOD only uses about 5% of battery for an entire 8-hour usage so it’s really tolerable. However, if you badly need to extend battery life in a day, turning AOD off might give your battery a needed boost.
Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 6: Use Night Mode
If you want to further save on battery power, you can opt to use Night Mode. This is a recent addition to Samsung’s new One UI and they claim that it can give your device longer battery life of about 2 hours. Night Mode works all throughout your software experience so it’s a good way to Improve Galaxy S10 battery life. To enable Night Mode:
1.   Open Settings app.
2.   Tap Display.
3.   Tap the 4th option which is Night mode.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 7: Change wallpaper to black
Another way to save on battery is by using a black wallpaper on both the Lock screen and Home screen. The AMOLED screen on your S10 uses more power if the screen is trying to display more colors. A black wallpaper will reduce battery consumption, however tiny the difference is.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 8: Review and turn off features you’re not using
Samsung Galaxy devices have a lot of unnecessary features.  Most of these features uses battery power even if they’re not being used so turning them off is not a bad idea. Some of these features include the Edge Panel, Edge Lighting, and some gestures. Go to Settings > Advanced features, and see what items you can disable. You can turn off  Smart Capture, Palm Swipe Capture, Direct Call, Easy Mute, Smart Stay, among other.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 9: Check network functions
Leaving some network functionalities on can also contribute to fast battery drain problem. Like gestures mentioned above, network functionality like Bluetooth, wifi, mobile data, and NFC use sensors that works in the background leaving them on requires power. If you don’t use them often, make sure to turn them off. For example, if you don’t need Bluetooth all the time, keeping it off throughout the day can greatly improve Galaxy S10 battery life. The same is true for wifi, mobile data, GPS or NFC. Keep in mind that some apps require that you enable GPS. if you depend on such apps, it’s up to you which network function you want to turn off.

Improve Galaxy S10 battery life step 10: Use Power Saving Mode
If you badly need to use your phone for basic functions like calling and texting and there’s no way you can charge the device in the near term, you can also use Power Saving Mode. This mode will greatly reduce the power requirements of the system by reducing CPU speed, lowering screen brightness and resolution, among others. To use Power Saving Mode, follow these steps:
1.   Open Settings app.
2.   Tap Device Care.
3.   Tap Battery.
4.   Select Power mode.
5.   Select either Medium power saving or Maximum power saving.
