Dear Sir,
Please see the findings of our Group.

Steps to be taken to improve the Administration of Vendor certification courses:

1.   All counselors should know the vendor courses:  All counselors should know the benefits, course curriculum, class timing, fees etc of all vendor certification courses.  If they don’t have enough familiarity on it students who will come to query to them may become discourage. That’s why proper training should be given to the counselors.
2.   Need organogram for proper reporting: There should be a proper organogram for the employees who are directly related to the vendor certification courses. It will be helpful for proper reporting as well as managing all courses from a single point of view.
3.   Certification Course Calendar: There should be a course calendar just like bachelor programs. It will be helpful for tracking courses for students as well as DIU management. On the other hand, if we have vendor course academic calendar then it will be supportive for advertisement.
4.   At least One Certification May Mandatory: One Certification program may be mandatory for students of bachelor program. Students may choose any program from all certification courses. A portion of the course fees may be included in the total fees of bachelor students.
5.   Arrange a get together: Every month a get together may be held within the relevant people with their progress report. It may be helpful for fixing all kind of problems. New suggestions and proposals may be introduced by this session for providing the better support and services.
6.   Training for Instructor: University may provide local or foreign training to the instructor to cope with new technology. It will increase the overall performance of the instructor and be helpful to gain students satisfaction.

Dear Sir

We the following group members thoughts the points mentioned below could be considered as the stimuli for Marketing policies. We also presented our thoughts before other participating groups

Step-1: Eearmark some budget for marketing to gather potential students from in and outside of the Daffodil Internation University.

Step-2: DIU should ensure Media Participation i.e. DIU should attend all the fairs, seminars, symposiums arranged by different varsities, pubulic and private business entities and others.

Step-3: DIU also need to go for Web and Print marketing i.e. DIU should go for publishing all the vendor related achievements and its presence and Add on the Web as well as Print media for mass coverage.

Step-4: DIU can arrange promotional campaign to register more students.

Step-5: Vendor Certification outcome should be highlited to attract potential students.

Step-6: A Research activity can be initiated to find current market demand and then take necessary actions accordingly.

Step-7: Last but not the least dedicated and exclusive marketing people need to be engaged to all the vendor certification courses.

Dear Sir

Here are the findings of our groups. Our focus is on integration of vendor courses with academic courses.  The findings are as following.

The vendor courses could be the prerequisite course for advanced level academic courses. For example there are some courses in CSE & ETE which are similar to our vendor courses. So we may take initiative to make these vendor courses as prerequisite of those advanced level academic courses.

The lab practice of the academic courses could be design according to the vendor courses infrastructure. For example networking courses can use CISCO facilities, for database courses we may use Oracle platform, we may also use Microsoft IT academy and RedHat Linux for server and Operating system respectively. It may create awareness about the prospects of these vendor courses among the students.

We may arrange workshop periodically to make student motivated about the vendor courses. The faculty members should also participate in this workshop. In which we have to convince the student about the effectiveness of these vendor courses in present job field.

The faculty members should take special initiative to make students aware about the effectiveness of the vendor courses.
