Textile and Garments Fair 2012

9th Dhaka 'Textile and Garments Fair 2012' started to "Bangabandhu International Conference Center" organized by Bangladesh Textile Mills Association. More than 31 countries participating in this Fair. There are 1020 nos of stalls in the Fair. A lot of uncommon machinery available to the Fair. All of our Faculties and students related to this subject/department  should visit the Fair.

some points which is for future interest:   SUSTAINABILITY

there are some companies/ agents/ industries which are working for sustainable development in the field of energy/power consumption:

like Solarvista, the stall one can easily find next to the entrance of main building of BICC.
'Dynagro'-providing innovative engineering solution to textile and clothing industry
some companies came with motto with cleaner production, which providing CAD/CAM/automatic spreader for clothing industry

We few faculty members of TE with our Dept. Head visited this fair yesterday. We have tried to contact with the foreign companies and collected information about latest technologies as much as possible. We have offered few Indian and European companies to arrange a seminar on our university. They have showed their interest for this. Hopefully very soon, we will contact with them and will arrange few seminars as early as possible.

Some of our faculty visit the "Textile and Garments Fair 2012". Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbubul Haque , Head, TE was along with them. Department of TE arranged transport facility for them.
