Daffodil International University Debating Club became Runner Up in Inter Club Debate Competition -2012 organized by Sir A F Rahman Debating Club of Dhaka University held during May 9-12, 2012 at A F Rahman Hall Auditorium.
Thirty two debating clubs from different public and private universities participated at this competition where Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of Dhaka University became Champion and Daffodil International University Debating Club became Runner up. DIU Debating Club team comprised with

In ATN BANGLA National Debate Competition Daffodil International University now in Quarter Final. Daffodil International University beat South East University in second round.
