For your concern, I like to shear two video tutorial links on DIU BLC (Moodle). If you carefully watch these tutorials, I think you will be more comfortable with Moodle.

DIU BLC (Moodle) Tutorial Part 1, This tutorial covered the following contents,
(1) How to sign-in in BLC and how to open a course in BLC
(2) How to design course introduction (step by step)
(3) How to design and display your lecture content (PDF & Video)
(4) Way of student’s enrolment
(5) How to create a section or group
(6) How to add other faculty in your course

DIU BLC (Moodle) Tutorial Part 2, This tutorial covered the following contents,
(1) How to set up and create a QUIZ, ASSIGNMENT, and PRESENTATION
(2) How to create a complete GRADEBOOK (within 100 marks)
(3) How to link up all activity in GRADEBOOK
(4) How the students are performing in all activity via Moodle
(5) How the teachers are complete the assessment of the students and input all marks in GRADEBOOK
(6) How to create Q & A forum
(7) How to update the profile of the teachers and also the students
