Dear All,
Establishing belief is not easy. It requires a lot of thinking and contemplation. As one starts thinking, questions pop into the mind, e.g.
If there is one Creator, shouldn't there be ONE religion? The answer to this question is that each one of us should study our own religion in depth. Muslims should study the Qur'an in depth, Christians should study the Bible in depth, Hindus should study their own books in depth, etc.
It is in the depth that one will find commonalities...each one of us has been given life, individuality, skills, opportunities and free-will. How and why? Is this all automatic or is there someone we should thank?
The article in the link below may help answer some questions.

I know about the Abrahamic religions, perception about God. And if we analyse, we will definately find about ALLAH, the only creator. Hinduism and Buddhism says the thing in a different way. But I do need to know Greek mythology's perception regarding this. Can anyone say about this thing with explanation?

Dear Faiyaz,
Good question. In trying to answer your question, I read up a little bit. I wonder whether there is a significant difference in the way that Hindu gods are portrayed and the gods of Greek Mythology. Anyway, the following link may shed some light.

Yousuf Sir, thanks for your resourceful comments. I think that, greek mythology is actually based on deity powers. Like- Zeus having the power of world and bolts, hades having the power of underworld, riches etc... But, Sir I think there are some dissimilarities between hindu and greek mythology. In greek mythology there is no "main" deities and have separate powers... Though; zeus, hades and poseidon is considered main 3... But, if try and look for hindu mythology's god concept, we'll definately find the trimurti and their wives as the main sources of powers, although hindu bros decline this concept, as I had discussed this with them. I'm saying this because ram, krishna, narasimha, parshuram etc are the form of vishnu; shiva is considered "mahakaal or mahadev" for various extraordinary charisma and bharma is also a divine figure in his own accord. Their wives are parvati, laxmi and saraswati. Now durga, kaali etc. figures are form of parvati. Now Sir can you please tell me why they don't accept trimurti and their wives as main gods? I know that we Muslims have "One God" mindset. But, although I keep apart this mindset for a while, this does not make sense... Sorry Sir, if I had said any rude stuffs or if my words go against any specific religion, but my intension is just to know about this thing. As I couldnt get a proper ans. from anyone.

Dear Faiyaz,
It's good to find out about religions of the world. However, I don't understand your question. If you explain your question again or perhaps pay me a visit, I can understand what you are saying.
To me the questions to answer are:
* Who has made me unique?
* Who has given me feelings and abilities?
* Who has given me opportunities to study and learn?
* Who gives me success?
* Should I thank the Being that has given me all these things to enjoy?
* Is it fair to thank other things or beings who have done nothing for me?
* By calling other things or beings 'god' I am thanking them.
By applying these questions to yourself, see if you can find some answers. You may also look at the article in the link:

After you have tried to answer each of the above questions for yourself come and see me.
Best regards.

Yousuf Sir, I would definately like to meet you. But Sir ironically, I dont know where you sit... And Sir my question to you was, why hindus worship different deities instead of the main gods? Sir, I have ALHAMDULILLAH a sound idea about ISLAM, but 1 thing i need to know... We know that a person's future is made by his doings and his destiny. But was RASULALLAH (S.M)'s fate had been judged by his destiny only? As we know that QURAN MAJID had been kept in LAOHE MAHFUZ, long before it was revealed to RASULALLAH (S.M) and it contained different SURAH's which were revealed to justify RASULALLAH (S.M)... Hope I can make myself clear.
