Title: Fast Aid and a Doctor for our Daffodil internatinal University.
Post by: sushmita on January 18, 2012, 03:11:17 PM: We are badly in need of fast aid box and a doctor for the university because abruptly any student, faculty or staff of this university may be sick.

So for rendering the primary treatment we need First Aid Box in each department and Doctor for the Campus.

Today a female student of Law department became sick abruptly and I have seen university administration make a prompt arrangement of taking the student in hospital. I appreciate them.

But for the primary treatment we need those support urgently.

Students may become sick in exam hall. It will become very urgent then.

I had seen that situation also.

So I humbly request the authority will take necessary steps for this urgent situation.

We will appoint a full time doctor soon. Besides I would also like to inform you that we got official approval from UGC for Masters in Public Health (MPH) program and is going to start from this semester. You already aware about DIU's Nutrition & Food Engineering (NFE) & Pharmacy department. We (DIU) expect and hope all these subject will not only produce good quality people in these fields but also help DIU members a lot.

DIU Authority is always prompt,smart and quick in reply of well wishing of the stakeholders and the university really.

They give Proof of their utmost sincerity by taking initiatives about this emergency matter.

Yes, I came to know that DIU is going to open Masters in Public Health (MPH) program and already have opened Bachelor in Environmental Science and Disaster management and will open Civil Engineering, Architecture, Hotel Management,Transport Engineering, genetic Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology soon.

I wish my DIU will succeed in each attempt.

We can utilize Pharmacy Department as a drug storage and preservation of some common medicine such as NSAID drugs (paracetamol. aspirin, diclofenac...), Drug for peptic ulcer, oral saline, sedatives etc and by using Pharmacy with MPH it is possible to establish a Medical center in DIU for our students. Those students are interested to get the facilities from medical center must buy a health card for each year by giving an annual fee.

Thanks for your mail. Inshallaha from next week can start our long desired medical service for our students from next week at Sobhanbag Campus. A good number of different types of specialist doctor in different fields will seat by rotation.
