বিজ্ঞানের প্রভুত উন্নতির ফলে কাগজ কলম পেন্সিলের জীবন থেকে আমরা চলে গেছি ডিজিটাল সাম্রাজ্যে। টোটাল একটা অটোমেশন যুগের দিকে ধাবিত হচ্ছে আমাদের জীবন। আর এই অটোমেশন যুগে তালমিলিয়ে চলার জন্য যেকটা টেকনোলজী বিদ্যমান তার মধ্যে মাল্টিমিডিয়া অন্যতম।

Faculty of Science and Information Technology অনুষদের অধীনে Multimedia and Creative Technology বিভাগটি বাংলাদেশে শুধুমাত্র Daffodil International University তেই রয়েছে। প্রযুক্তির সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে সৃজনশীল ও নান্দনিক ক্রিয়াকর্মকে ডিজিটাল ক্যানভাসে তুলে আনা ও সৃজনশীল দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ তৈরী করাই এই বিভাগের মূল উদ্দেশ্য। ক্রিয়েটিভ আর্টস তথা চারুকলার ফ্লেভারের সাথে এখানে যোগ হয়েছে ম্যাথমেটিক্স, ফিজিক্স আর প্রোগ্রামিং। তার মানে you can get the combine taste of creative arts and technology.

৪ বছরের এই অনার্স কোর্সে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ৪টি বিষয়ের উপর দক্ষতা অর্জন করে। তা হলো; ১) 3D animation and VFX engineering, ২) Visual Arts and Communication, ৩)Game Design and Development এবং ৪) Film and Media.

আমরা আপনাদের সকলকে সাদর আমন্ত্রন জানাচ্ছি আমাদের কে জানার জন্য, আমাদের কে বোঝার জন্য। Welcome to Multimedia and creative Technology dept. and get the combined taste of creative arts and technology.

Software Engineering / how to run mapreduce program in Hadoop

How to run MapReduce
---------------------------------


Step1: Put the text file on Hadoop HDFS(here,"/home/hadoop1/wordcountFile /"This is text file name with directory).
$hadoop dfs -put /home/hadoop1/wordcountFile /

Step2: give location to hadoop (jar file, packagenaem.ClassName /file Name Output Folder)
$hadoop jar /home/hadoop1/DemoMapReduce.jar PackageDemo.WordCount /wordcountFile1 OutPutFile

setp3: view the output folder
$hadoop fs -ls OutPutFile1

step4: view the Result
$hadoop fs -cat OutPutFile1/part-r-00000

If we want to work with big data it is important to install hadoop. I have install this in ubuntu OS platform and I made a manual that how to install and run hadoop. see the manual in attachment option. I hope it would be helpfull for all.
