I would like to salute the government to take an innovative decision regarding the maternity leave. A mother is only the key person who can understand her child at very beginning stage like after birth of child. So now onward mom can be able to pay more time with their child and hope so it will be pay a great effort to build a good and healthy nation. Thanks to initiator.

Obviously very good news not only for female faculty member but also for Male Faculty because you may have sister, wife as a female employer in any private sector. So the male faculty members should not feel jealous for that. But Reza ans Anam, like many other countries in Bangladesh many well organizations are giving paternity leave. Good news for you also.

very few pvt. teaching institutes are providing this leave of 6 months to teachers...still most of these institutions are maintaining previous period of leave such as 3 months or 4 months. Hope they follow the government initiative as soon as possible.
