Root of most of our laws are the British law and this is true for the other commonwealth countries as well like India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia etc. The United Kingdom has changed their Companies Act in 2006 and the others have also changed their law or in the process of changing. The major considerations for this change is technological change and change in global economy.

The pace of changes in all aspects of global issues are very fast now a days and this is most true in the field of business. In order to meet the demand of changed global scenario in the field of business, Bangladesh Government is planning to amend the Companies Act which was last amended on 1994....
