WITSA Secretary General Dr. James H. Poisant visits Daffodil International University

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Former Chairman of Global Trade Committee & Director of WITSA and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University hands over a memento to Dr. James H. Poisant, Secretary General of World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) during his visit to Daffodil International University.
Dr. James H. Poisant, Secretary General of World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) visited Daffodil International University(DIU) yesterday on 23 April, 2019. Invited by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Former Chairman of Global Trade Committee & Director of WITSA and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University, he made this visit to DIU. Professor Dr. S M Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor of DIU accorded floral reception at his arrival in the campus. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family, Mr. Md. Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) of DIU, Mr. Md. Shahid-Ul-Munir, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) and other high officials of DIU were also present during his visit.
It may be mentioned here that Daffodil International University has been awarded WITSA Global ICT Excellence Award (Merit Winners) for successive two years in 2016 & 2017 for sustainable growth.

WITSA facilitate international trade and investment in ICT products and services through their global network upholding theme” Fulfilling the Promise of the Digital Age”.
World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), the largest international ICT organization which is called as Olympic of Information and Communication Technology has conferred the responsibility of hosting World Congress on Information Technology 2021(WCIT 2021) in Bangladesh where more than 3000 registered IT experts from all over the globe will took part and showcase their products and services.
