The first English Dictionary, being a little book of some 120 pages, compiled by a certain Robert Cawdray, published in 1604 under the title 'A Table Alphabeticall of hard usuall English wordes'. At that time Cawdray concentrated only on scholarly words.

Use of Forum / DIU Forum Day

This is a great news for us that Daffodil International University is going to organize the Forum Day for the first time. The program will be celebrated on the 18th of October 2010 (Monday) at DIU auditorium at 2:30 pm.

 

Honorable Chairman, BoG has given his kind consent to be present on the occasion as Chief Guest while the distinguished Management Personnel, faculty members, officials and students will embellish the program with their presence and valuable ideas. The objective of the Forum day is to create more awareness among all DIU members and motivate them by acknowledging the contribution of some bright, positive and productive participants of the DIU Forum.
