Today me & my friends drinking tea just outside of our varsity. Bus & car moving fast on the road. Daily many students cross this road. We are watching some of our student trying to cross the road but they can't. The road was traffic free & the driver driving desperately. Everyday we read about road accident in news paper. Recently a BUET student dies in road accident. It's quite intolerable & unexpected death.
We should think & care about this. We must keep save the road. Why we don't take step about it? At least speed breaker can help us. We should not wait for a single day more. We can also discuss with the traffic police to be more concern about their duty in-front of our varsity.
I don't want any die of dream.

In most cases, our common sense & self awareness can save us from being a tragic victim of road mishap.
Life is far more precious than time.
Over confidence, sometimes causes disastrous accident.

You are very much right. But, no one wants to die even who wants to go heaven, they do not have hurry to die to go heaven. We all are aware but what about the desperate driver? I must tell accident does not care awareness. It happens suddenly, without any notice. The situation can not give you ensure that today you can go back to home safely. I am sorry sir I'm not agreeing with you. Road accident statistic does not show only awareness & common scene can save you.
Nobody is ready to leave their life only on their "awareness & common scene".

It is our common problem that we hardly read a thing thoroughly and understand the matter deeply..!

''common sense & self awareness'' are not sole medicines of resisting road mishap. These are merely crucial initiatives of keeping ones away from road accidents (in most cases). And if the rash drivers are "aware enough and possess common sense", the degree of road accident would be minimized more. In that sense, common sense & self awareness of respective authority & drivers are important.

I agree with Mr. Kazi shahin. We face the different problem when we cross the road. Will authority make speed breaker across the Prince Plaza and Plaza AR? Mr. Shibli sir is absolutely right.

The post already got 67 days. There are many problem to make a speed breaker. Such as, traffic department, Road corporation, city corporation, financial & many ............................
But don't worry it will be soon.

Is there any one more than us (Students & Employees) feeling the necessity of a speed breaker?I am sure yes there are but not like us who are facing the problem each n everyday.Its a night mare to me to cross the road in front of Metro specially the point where 3 roads are meeting in front of main campus.We several times wanted to construct a speed breaker in front of our main campus but we didn't get permission because its a VIP road and speed breaker is not allowed.There a possibility that RAZUK will build an over bridge but still its not decided where to be built.It may take more time.

Idea of an overbridge can be another option with a speedbraker in front of our campuses. Whatever be enacted, lets be more cautious to cross the busy roads until any changes be done.

Dear All
Thanks for all of your constructive conversation on this important issue as we all feel the necessity of this. We (DIU) the authority, several times talk with the concern Govt department officially on this issue but they can't help us as its a VVIP road. Building over-bridge also have same problem as we all aware that there are some key national installations around this area. Now we are trying at least for a Zebra crossing in front of our campus.

Dear Students,
We can do one think to save our valuable life that is awareness. We are living in the unplanned Dhaka City. That's why we have to face many problems in every moments but we have to live and minimize the problems.

May be that day is not too far that an over bridge would be there but as we dont know the exact timing how long it will take,so till then we need to be more careful during crossing road.kazi shaheen accident is an unpredictable incident that why we call it accident.Sometimes it happened in the roads having speed breaker Zebra crossing too.We cant premonition.Many ppl cross the road without thinking or looking the at the vehicles all on a sudden.This attitude makes the driver confused.Cant we wait for the red signal?I know you will say if I wait for the signal I will be late for other important work.Is that work is more important than our lives.Isnt it better to wait for few mins from your life which may make ur life few more years long?

Furthermore, one should never talk over mobile while on the way. It diverts attention of the mobile user and may hasten the horrendous accident(s).
It is also found that, some young people stuff headphones into the ears and submerged in enjoying musics, with an oblivion to the surroundings. It is a kind of nuisance & might cause severe accidents. I believe, the members of DIU family is beware of this ignorant job in the way.

Yesterday I saw a person talking over cell phone while driving a bike.It was so risky.I cant understand what might be so important that time? and how come he was balancing , lifting up his shoulder to hold the mobile into the ear and driving the bike with the same hand.Anything could be happened at any time.I hope and Im sure DIU students are never ever callus like that.Idea of Zebra crossing is an effective one.

If we intensely analyze, we would find that, the very reasons behind maximum accidents are triggered off following the callousness/ insincerity/ less-attention of either the driver(s) or the passers-by. It is really regrettable that, for the fault of one part, both side become victims of untoward accidents!

The all fact is logical truth. Life is the only one things that's haven't any change. If I offer someone to give him the world & he will gives me his life, it's just impossible. The all things are invalid here. Let's discuss for saving life & do an awareness program, where we can invite the right authority of road department of government. Where we can show them the necessity & understand them about the above truth we have discussed yet. Can we do it?

Its very nice to feel that the members of DIU family are very conscious with their farsighted existence as we have hardly heard a member of DIU have confronted any severe accident on the road in front of our campuses. Our students always promptly come forward to protest any sort of incongruity they face all around. I think, it is the turn of you people to take initiatives about the awareness program you want to observe. An awareness human chain can be formed in a particular morning beside the road in front of us, in which faculty, students & Admin. personnel will participate. Please discuss with your teachers, select a day, invite your teachers, circulate among your classmates and the students of other departments (by sticking notice in and around campuses).
DIU is always eager to comply with the students in instance for the benefit of them.

Few days ago I mentioned that DIU students are Patient enough and thats their distinct feature. Hope they wont break the image at any cost.We could rely on them.

Prevention is better than cure.
Lets be more meticulous so that any hazardous situation may no occur. After confronting an accident, the ultimate looser will be the victim. Not any 'destructive situation' will bring the lose back.
Be rationale. Destruction can never be a solution.

World University student killed in a road accident in front of their campus in Dhanmondi, road 3. It's occurred at the mirpur road in front of Lab Aid hospital. It's totally unexpected. We don't want to see no more road accident.
May Allah forgive the student.

When a person dies a premature, untimely death, its quite unexpected, indeed.
Yes, WE DON'T WANT TO SEE MORE ROAD ACCIDENT. Lets be more cautious while moving in the roads. After my death by an accident, no initiatives would assist me and my family. So, why not to be alert more!
