Liberation of Bangladesh / International Mother Language Day
« on: February 19, 2020, 02:54:53 PM »
21st february, 1952: Dawn of a Nation

21st February could’ve been an ordinary day. But it’s not. Back on February 21st of 1952 everything changed. An ordinary day turned out to be the day that created history. The day we Bengalis told the Pakistani hyenas we’re not meant to be ruled, told the world we’ll fight for our voices. No one tells us what we say, how we say; It’s us who decide what we say, how we say.

On 21st February of 1952 we might have protested for our voices and language but it was the day that planted the seeds of victory and independence of our nation. And the seeds were watered by the blood of Rafik, Salam, Jabbar and many more who sacrificed their lives for the language Bangla, the sweet, beautiful mother tongue of ours. When it comes to our independence people may say 1969 to 1971 were the years that led us to be an independent nation but it was 21st February of 1952 that has the heaviest impacts in our existence. It showed the hyenas they can’t do whatever they want to us and that made them uncomfortable, desperate to take control over us. That was the moment they lost.

21st February may be celebrated as a mourning day but the thing is it was a moment of glory, moment of a new sun’s rising. A sun that went on to give birth to a new nation, a new country. It showed the world what happens when you try to snitch away a nation’s voice.
The event of 21st February changed the way our culture is. As language is one of most fundamental elements for a culture to blossom. They tried to take away the most important thing, our beloved Bangla language and it would’ve handicaped our culture to die. But we rescued our language, our culture. If it wasn’t for the day there wouldn’t be a Bangla language, Bangla literature, no presence of Bengali nation. It increased our love for Bangla even more. 21st February has been inspiration for many songs, poems, drama and novels. Bangla language tells us not to be ashamed of what we are, who we are. Let’s not think of our culture and language for granted or less in any part but more as we are the only nation to fight for it’s mother tongue. Our movement impacted the whole world as they celebrate their respective languages on the day of 21st February. This achievement is not only for ours, it’s for every nation, every tribe that are struggling to find their voices and themselves. If we look at our culture we can see and feel the importance of our mother tongue, the peace in speaking Bangla.

Let’s celebrate the day, feel proud and respect every language, every nation, every culture and remember the people that sacrificed their lives. May they live forever in the history of the nation. Even though we may have our own language still some of us find it difficult to speak, afraid to raise our voices. Let’s celebrate this great international mother language day every day and take oath to help each other find our voices against racism, corruption and other social problems that’s holding back this great nation.

CIS / Communication Skills
« on: November 24, 2018, 12:27:59 AM »
Communication is a way of sharing thoughts, views, ideas, feelings, opinions. All living beings communicate. Communication is one of the fundamental skills of survival. As humans our way of communication is different than others. Our way of communicating is easy and sophisticated at the same time. Humans are highly intelligent in comparison to other creatures. That gives us extra advantages. That is one of the reason human’s long survivals in the world. There are various ways of communicating. And the high intelligence of humans comes in play here.
Humans can communicate in three different ways. As perk of humans biological advancement we can use verbal communication and can speak in meaningful sentences. Another ways to communicate is non-verbally and the third way of communication is visually. Communication holds the people of different races together and plays an important role in living together in a society. Communication doesn’t always help. Miscommunication can lead chaos and war. So, we need to learn the proper ways to communicate.  To be skilled in communicating, we need to follow certain rules and practice them in our lives. In this era of competition communication is one of the skill that can put someone far behind or much ahead from other competitors. And no one wants to be behind! That’s why we’re going to follow these rules to increase our ability to communicate.
To be skilled in communicating we need to be good at things like:
•   Listening
•   Speaking
•   Body Language
•   Right Medium
•   Friendliness
•   Keeping Open Mind
•   Respect
•   Feedback
•   Conciseness
•   Showing Empathy

These are the basic requirements to be considered good in communication. Communication is needed for both personal and business goals. Listening is very important for communicating. If someone is not listening to the speaker, the speaker loses interest and affects his message. Also, if someone doesn’t listen attentively he’ll fail whatever purpose he went there to listen. Being active listener is not hard. One just needs to pay close attention and interaction. It’ll help to understand the speaker. Speaking is what human mostly does to communicate. Speaking is basically making meaningful vocal sounds. To speak properly and communicate we have to evaluate whom we’re talking to and selecting appropriate language to speak. Also one has to understand what massage he wants to share and ensure the audience gets it the way he wants. Body language also plays a big rule in communication. Eye contact, hand gesture, vocal tone etc. towards audience helps them understand what message actually the speaker wants to send. Wrong body language might send wrong message. So, the speaker has to control his body language according to his message type. To make sure the targeted audience get the message the speaker has to select the appropriate medium. Or else the message will end up on wrong hands and won’t meet the purpose and goal.
Friendliness helps to share views and thoughts without hesitation. To converse with people we need to be friendly towards them, gain their trust. Otherwise the communication will fail. Being open minded is a primary need of communication. If someone is not in open minded it’ll affect the communication. As it’ll create conflict and won’t be able accept the idea. It may cause chaos. That’s why, being open minded is a fundamental requirement of communication. Respecting others opinion is also important as being open minded. These two terms are related. Because one can’t respect other’s opinion if he’s not open minded.
Giving and taking feedback is also needed to ensure the communication is successful. Otherwise one can’t be sure if the message is sent and received successfully. Conciseness plays vital rule in communication. As people don’t like other people who talk much. Also, people tend to receive message when the speaker doesn’t say much and doesn’t say too little. The speaker has to convey the message with just enough words that explain the message. If the speaker rumbles audience might get frustrated. Besides, the message has to be clear. To make the communication even more successful people has to show empathy to each other. It’ll encourage them to share more and trustfully.
It’s not hard to follow the rules that are mentioned above. But it’s not also easy. Every required skill has barrier. And to win the race of being skillful in communication is to overcome those barriers. Barriers can be personal, physical, psychological and organizational. No one is perfect. But we can’t let that stop us. Making the barriers to strength is what we have to do. The one that can follow and practice these rules in real life can be the winner of the race, achieve the goal and spread his ideas. In this era of globalization the right way of communication can bring huge change through a simple idea.

CIS / Networking
« on: September 27, 2018, 01:04:24 PM »
One of the largest categories for IT certifications, and thus IT careers, has to be networking. Without applying more specific criteria, a networking cert could cover local wired and wireless IP network design, connectivity, routing, and administration, but also mobile communications technologies like LTE and Mobile WiMAX.
In addition, data center networking falls under this umbrella, as well as wide area network (WAN) connectivity and quality of service, as do traditional long-haul technologies such as carrier Ethernet, optical fiber, and so on. This survey whittled the list down mainly to the most popular local wired and wireless networking certifications. A handful of certs in this article overlap general networking with Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and mobility, but they're exceptions to the rule.
The list also includes a mix of vendor-neutral and vendor-specific credential sponsors, although vendors are more heavily represented. You'll see certifications from well-known technology vendors like Aruba Networks, Cisco, Extreme Networks, HP, and Juniper Networks, as well as vendor-neutral certifications by BICSI, CompTIA, and the IPv6 Forum.
Advancing your career in networking
If you're just starting a career in networking, we recommend that you pursue one or more vendor-neutral, entry-level credentials such as the CompTIA Network+, any of the CWNP certifications, and the IPv6 Forum Silver Certified Engineer. These credentials expose you to many different but highly valuable networking technologies and products and will be helpful in finding a networking job.

The only free certification on the list is Hurricane Electric IPv6, which actually represents several credentials at multiple levels. The program is very well developed and continually expands, and it looks to be more than worth the time you will spend studying for any of the exams.
After achieving one or more vendor-neutral credentials, consider vendor-specific certifications that are pertinent to your line of work. For example, if you work for a consulting firm that supports Cisco and HP technologies, pursue applicable intermediate- or professional-level certifications. Training costs for vendor-specific certifications are generally higher than vendor-neutral, so be sure to find out if your employer will cover part or all of the cost of training and certification exam fees.
Networking job types
For those just starting a career in networking, here is a short list of the available types of positions and networking jobs:
•   Network Specialist
•   Network Technician
•   Network Administrator
•   Network Analyst
•   Network Manager
•   Network Engineer
•   Network Solutions Architect
As you develop your networking career further, you might decide to specialize in one or more areas of networking. At this point, the networking jobs you would be applying for might include:
•   Network Security Specialist
•   Cloud Networking Architect
•   Networking Research and Development Specialist
•   Wireless Networking QA Engineer
•   Wireless Infrastructure and Mobility Specialist
•   Mobility Solutions Architect
•   VoIP Engineer

Networking & Security / Career in Cyber Security
« on: September 27, 2018, 01:01:07 PM »
As a cyber security expert, you will have a huge range of career options across a wide variety of industries (e.g. finance, government, retail, etc.). But IT security is a specialist field. You’re unlikely to start your professional life as a penetration tester or a security architect. So the question remains – how do you get your foot in the door?
Start with this resource. It’s intended to help anyone interested in transitioning from a non-security career. We’ve included advice on choosing a starter IT job, tips on building your résumé and ideas for gaining practical experience. We’ve also listed hard IT skills and non-security certifications that will give you a solid grounding for the future.
There is no one true path to working in cyber security. People come at it from all angles – math, computer science, even history or philosophy. Yet all of them share a deep and abiding interest in how technology works.  Security gurus say this is critical. You need to know exactly what you’re protecting and the reason things are insecure.
Train In General IT
To that end, many experts suggest that you begin with a job, internship or apprenticeship in IT. This will verse you in fundamentals such as administering & configuring systems, networks, database management and coding. You’ll also get a sense of IT procedures and real-world business operations.
Focus Your Interests
Because it’s impossible to be an expert in all categories, employers also suggest you focus on an area (e.g. networking security) and do it well. Think ahead 5-10 years to your “ultimate security career” then look for starter IT jobs that will supply you with the right skills. Sample career paths could include:
•   Exchange administrator → Email security

Self Improvement / Career on Technopreneurship:
« on: September 27, 2018, 12:55:09 PM »
Many entrepreneurs believe that the most important factor that will determine their level of success with a startup relates to their overall experience and skills in the niche area. However, the most successful entrepreneurs have developed a certain set of skills that have helped them reach their goals. While you definitely need nerve and patience to launch and run a new business, you also need to focus on nurturing these seven critical skills that are integral to your future success in very important ways.
Ambition: It is easy to give up when the going gets tough, but the most successful entrepreneurs persist because of their ambitious nature. They want to succeed, and they thrive on reaching small milestones that are stepping stones to their major goal. When you are highly ambitious, you may have an internal drive to work hard, and you may be committed to doing what it takes to make your business a success. Generally, you will not look for shortcuts and are willing put in the time necessary to get the job done right.
Willingness to learn: Some people think that learning stops when you graduate college or earn a special certification, but this is not the case. Education is a life-long process. You must stay updated with changes in technology, the evolution of your industry, sales processes and more. Always seek new knowledge. More than that, look for the most successful people in your industry and do not be afraid to ask for their opinions or advice.
Ability to Listen: You simply cannot manage a great team or run provide a great customer service if you are not an effective communicator. Communication is a two-way street. In order to communicate outwardly in an effective manner, you must pay attention to others’ motivations, hot buttons, interests and more. You also must be aware of non-verbal cues, such as body language. Avoid coming off as being self-promotional or vain, and strive to show that you are helpful and interested in others. This can foster collaboration, get others excited about your goals and more rather than turn them off because you seem overly interested in your own self-interests.
Creativity: If you always do the same thing, you very likely will not enjoy new and better results. You must try new things to find what works best. You also need to enrich your live with new experiences regularly. This may be something as simple as talking to new people or taking a personal interest class. Each experience that you have can lead to new opportunities that you previously did not have available to you.
Assertiveness and Confidence: While listening is important for effective communication, you also must know when you need to take control of the conversation and assert your opinions and beliefs. You should listen to others who are making reasonable claims and requests, but you also need to know when to say no. Be consistent yet open-minded to earn respect and trust from those around you. You need to know what you stand for, and you need to stand up for those beliefs.
Knowledge about Technology World: The entrepreneur has to have the knowledge about what really going on the world of technology. What idea people are talking about and what he should contribute on.
Perseverance:
Many of the most successful business owners have suffered devastating defeats and failures. Rather than look at these events as an end to a situation, they have looked at these events as important learning moments. They maintained their optimism and perseverance, but they also made calculated changes to future efforts. Remember that you only fail when you stop trying. Persistence is the key to success.
Courage and Risk Taking: In order to harness the power of creativity, you must have the courage to act on your great ideas and plans. While you need to research your ideas thoroughly, you must also have the courage to take an unknown step and try things that are unfamiliar to you. In the words of John Burroughs, “Leap, and the net will appear.”
Finding a successful path in life is rarely a straight and narrow process. Many entrepreneurs must take numerous steps to develop the right combination of skills, traits and knowledge to be successful with their efforts. If you focus your attention on nurturing these traits in your own life, you may be able to enjoy better overall success with future entrepreneurial efforts.

Project Based Learning / Projects Help To Learn and Build Career.
« on: August 06, 2018, 02:39:00 AM »
Computing Information System (CIS) a new BSc program in our country. The specialty of this program is, it focuses on the practical learning as well as theoretical. It's like two parallel line competing against each other. Students always complain about not getting jobs after they complete graduations. The main reason behind not getting job is they're not skilled or they don't know how to apply the things that they theoretically learned. Now, the question is why can't someone apply what they learned through out those four years of graduation? Well, we all know the answer. The answer of the question is they practically didn't learn those things. So, who's fault is that? I will say it's both students' and system's. In our country they don't see if someone have skills, they just want to know how good you're at memorizing theories. So, our education system is built on the basis of that. As a result Institutes don't focus on teaching the students how to apply the theories they learned in real life. But CIS is different. It's modern syllabus gives equal importance to practical. This program ensure that student apply the theories they learned as every semester students have to submit a project on what they learned through out the semester. As they make those project it increases their skills. The time's changed. These days you don't get job if you don't have skills. No matter what your field of study is, you need skills. And projects help to apply the theories in every steps of making the project. Those projects make student ready for the job, responsibilities and the coming days. Projects make that happen. Therefor, not only the students of CIS, everyone should make a project on what you learned. Not because institutes force you to do it, do it to learn.
