Daffodil International University Debating Club (DIU DC) has been awarded by “Education Watch”, a education based monthly magazine for its outstanding performance in debate culture grooming up young generation. The award was declared at the 10th founding anniversary of ‘Education Watch’ and national seminar on “Development in the developing countries: Discussion on education development, challenge and planning” held on April 16, 2018 at Kabi Sufia Kamal Auditorium of National Museum in the capital where Professor Dr. Md. Akteruzzaman, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka was the chief guest and Prof. Dr. A N M Meskat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of South East University. Mr. Nizam Chowdhury, Chairman, NRB Global Bank Ltd. and Senate Member of University of Dhaka, Ms. Shobnom Shehenaj Chowdhury Deepa, Vice President, Ivance Group were present as the special guest. Mr. Khalilur Rahman, Editor, Education Watch conducted the program.

Professor Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Moderator, DIU Debating Club received this award from Prof. Professor Dr. Md. Akteruzzaman, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka.
