How to be perfect
Everyone knows that no-one is truly perfect. Yet we all aim for perfection. We aim to be flawless - we want beautiful skin, a body to die for body, and to be loved by everyone. This is, of course, not exactly possible, but we can try to be the best we can be. Here's how.
Things You'll Need:

•   A positive attitude
•   Motivation
•   Self-control
•   Time and effort
1.   Step 1

Inner-Body Perfection. How you feel on the inside, reflects how you're seen from the outside. Make your health a priority. Drink plenty of water. Eat tonnes of fruit and vegetables. Take a daily vitamin. Stop smoking. Limit your alcohol intake. Treat your body like a temple - worship it.
2.   Step 2

Mind Perfection. How you think is how you come across. Think negatively and you will be portrayed as a negative person. Think positively and be a person people want to be around. Stop mind-insulting. Don't walk passed someone and think to yourself, "Geez, he is so FAT!". Instead, make yourself mind-compliment. Everyone you pass or see, compliment them in one way (to yourself). This will give you a nicer view of the world, and you will overall be a greater person. Also, big tip .. MEDITATE! Read about it - it's not as ridiculous as it's been put across. Enjoy the benefits!
3.   Step 3

Skin perfection. By keeping your inner-body healthy, your skin will automatically radiate naturally. It is important, however, to look after it manually. Exfoliate - remove dead skin and clean the new, fresh layer. Moisturize - give nutrients to your skin. It will make you look younger and healthier. It is a necessity to having perfect skin.
4.   Step 4

Outer-Body Perfection. Exercise and reap the benefits. Other than using exercise to maintain a healthy weight, it also releases endorphins that are extremely important in making you seem truly beautiful. Exercise gives you the energy to live life to the maximum. Don't start by planning to run for an hour every morning at 6am. Start with a 10 minute walk before you start work 5 times a week. Keep it simple at first - don't try to get too much exercise at once (it'll be hard and you will give up). Just get out there a little bit each day. Ideas? Walking. Swimming. Jogging. Tennis. Yoga. Pilates.
5.   Step 5

Communication Perfection. Hold your head up high when in social situations - but don't look down on people. Laugh at jokes made (even if you don't find them funny). Be polite. Talk clearly. Use hand gestures but not too many. Listen. Smile as you talk and listen. Be mindful of how others feel and remember to not insult them or what they've said at all. You want people to think you are a perfect communicator. This also becomes a huge aspect of most job situations.

6.   Step 6

Fashion Perfection. Take your time with hair and make-up. Never over-do it. Keep yourself looking tidy and natural. People want to see that you put effort into your appearance. With clothes, aim for things that compliment your body shape. Find colours that match your eyes and hair. The main thing is to feel great in everything you wear.
Tips & Warnings
•   Take time to do yoga.
•   Take time to do make-up and hair.
•   Never forget who you are. Always be true to yourself.
•   This is to help YOU become a better person. NOT to become someone you're not.
•   PLEASE remember, girls, you should never try to be someone you're not. Every one of you is beautiful. This ehow is a self-improvement. These steps work, as I now love my life and the people in it are extraordinary. We will always have our bad days (a bit of PMS, ugly, fat and depressing days :) remember, you'll feel great again soon).

Common Forum / How to be happy?
« on: July 11, 2010, 06:19:46 PM »
While people have many and varied goals that they pursue, there is an almost universal underlying goal to virtually all pursuits: the goal to be happy. People who spend a lot of time making money generally do so because they believe that the money itself will make them happy, or will guard them against things that will make them unhappy. If the focus isn’t on the money, but on the jobs that bring the money, those jobs are generally thought to make people happy. People strive for that perfect relationship, the perfect house, the beautiful body, the approval of others, all in an attempt to be happy. Sometimes these things make us happy; other times, we stress over not having reached our goals, or we reach them and find that we’re still not happy. Other times, we focus so intensely on one goal that’s thought to bring happiness that we don’t have time for other things in our life that will make us truly happy. This can all be confusing, and begs the question: how does one reach the goal of being happy?
The following is a step-by-step guide that can help you explore the current state of your life, assess how truly happy you are, and find a direction to work toward that will likely bring more happiness. You’ll also find resources and tips for reaching your happiness goals and setting new ones.

Allah: My belief / Truthfulness
« on: July 09, 2010, 03:32:11 PM »
Truthfulness in speech: Truthfulness in speech expresses a dignified personality, manhood, insight and generosity. No one would resort to lies unless he has a wicked nature, a wicked nafs [self], and a weak personality. A good-natured individual denounces lie and rebukes it, which is why all of the [previous revelations] agreed upon the prohibition and admonition of lie. How about the daai'ya then, can you imagine him lying!? I believe not, inshaa Allah. Some of the daai'yas may come across ambiguously by making certain statements which some people misunderstand, then later they may find out the opposite of what they misunderstood. Then they accuse him of lying. Besides, ambiguity may lead to the acceptance of some minor lies under the pretense that it is helpful!! So be cautious!
If you are in a situation that would cause you to lie, avoid doing so, and remember the words of Abu Sufyaan before Heracles when he was asked about the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam) and he [latter narrated to Muhammad sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam], "I swear by Allah, if I was sure that they would not have transmitted a lie from me, I would have lied about you." [Bukhari] This man, who was an idolater at the time, avoided lying out of fear that his lying would be transmitted, or that he would be insulted some day because of it. Re avoided lying even though he needed to do so We know that the honor of today's duaat  has become a target for a barrage of arrows, and this is why it is necessary for the daa'iya to close the door before the foul wind comes in, so that he can be safe!

Be a Business man/woman / The Importance of Punctuality :
« on: June 29, 2010, 06:38:08 PM »
Lateness is a sign of poor time management skills

When you are late for appointments, meetings or work, you show a lack of respect for other people’s time as well as your own. Punctuality is a problem for many people.

How can we ensure that we keep appointments by arriving on time? Here are some suggestions:

1. Make up your mind that you will be punctual from now on. In many cases lateness is caused by a lack of commitment to arrive on time. Have the right mindset.

2. Record the commitment in your planner and also record the time you must leave the house or office in order to arrive on time. Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.

3. If you have a fair distance to travel, always allow more time than you think it will take.

4. Don’t be trapped by the one last thing syndrome. If you’re ready to leave and it's still early, leave anyway. Utilize the time at the other end rather than trying to finish one more task before you leave.

5. If you are not a morning person, but have early morning commitments, set the alarm a little earlier. Some of us may need to go to bed a little earlier to make this work.

When it comes right down to it, punctuality is a habit that can be developed. It takes great effort at first, but eventually simply happens. Habits are formed by repetition. If you want to acquire the habit of punctuality, you must repeat this behavior again and again.

Common Forum / Why honesty is the best policy?
« on: May 03, 2010, 01:42:52 PM »
This is why honesty is truly the best policy. When you take responsibility for actions that you have committed, or give your account of a situation in an honestly reasonable manner, you not only gain respect but trust.. Trust is a key factor in our society today, and at times is hard to find. Truth is an essential in any career field: business, government, teaching, art, whatever you do, honesty can have a huge impact on your ability to make a living. Some people get by quickly and successfully telling a lie here or there, but just as quickly lose what they gained when the lie is exposed - as it almost always is.
Also, truth does not harm even if it may seem so when you tell it. In the long run, it benefits. Lies can cause pain, damage relationships of all types, and makes the person lying eventually feel guilt for what they have done. If you consider the people in your life that you most respect and would trust with your life, one of the first qualities about them that you can name is that they are honest.
When you earn something by honest work and actions it is so much more meaningful than when you achieve it dishonestly. Cheating on a test might garner you an "A" grade, but it is not a true reflection of yourself. When you have studied and worked hard, passing the same test with an "A" that you have truly earned, you have something to be proud of.
One thing to also consider about honesty is the little eyes that watch everyone taller than them each day in every action and word: our children. They absorb not only what we do, but how we do it. Children are remarkable at gauging when someone is lying to them or to another. They also copy what they see in someone they admire. If we model honesty, we will have an honest world. The other side of the coin is one of irresponsibility, and people growing up thinking that manipulating others is acceptable. Honesty also lets us know where we stand in relation to others. Instead of telling someone else what they want to know, simply be honest. This keeps resentment from boiling up inside that can later explode, causing damage to a once wonderful relationship.
Honesty does not have to be blunt and rude, either. There are tactful ways to tell someone how you feel, or to give advice. Constructive criticism is one of the most useful tools in learning, and when given tactfully and honestly, it can greatly benefit another to improve some aspect of him or herself.
In basic context, if you want to tell stories be a writer. Living an honest life to the best of your ability is one of the most honorable and kindest services that anyone can give to humanity. It helps us to keep avenues of communication open, an atmosphere of trust to pervade, and keeps people closer together in a more peaceful environment.

Dear Colleagues

Please be informed that it is our moral duty that we should take care and protect  the University assets and equipment. I believe only ten or twelve security personnel are not enough for security purposes. Each of us is morally responsible for our university security. if any of us suspects anybody, please inform the security or the authority concerned.
