The flesh of the jackfruit is starchy and fibrous, and is a source of dietary fibre. The flavour is similar to a tart banana. Varieties are distinguished according to the characteristics of the fruits' flesh. In Brazil, three varieties are recognized. These are: jaca-dura, or "hard" variety, which has firm flesh and the largest fruits that can weigh between 15 and 40 kilograms each; jaca-mole, or "soft" variety, which bears smaller fruits, with softer and sweeter flesh; and jaca-manteiga, or "butter" variety, which bears sweet fruits, whose flesh has a consistency intermediate between the "hard" and "soft" varieties.

Be a Leader / Secrets of Successful Leaders...........
« on: September 24, 2012, 11:48:09 PM »
“A good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader, a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves.” But, becoming a great leader isn’t easy. Successfully maneuvering a team through the ups and downs of starting a new business can be one of the greatest challenges a small-business owner faces.

1. Assemble a dedicated team:

Your team needs to be committed to you and the business. Successful entrepreneurs have not only social and selling smarts, but also the know-how to hire effectively. You have to be able to identify, attract and retain talent who can turn your concept into a register-ringing success,”

2. Don’t assume:

When you run a small business, you might assume your team understands your goals and mission -- and they may. But, everybody needs to be reminded of where the company’s going and what things will look like when you get there.

3. Over-communicate:

This one’s a biggie. Even with a staff of only five or 10, it can be tough to know what’s going on with everyone. It makes everyone feel like you really have a lot of momentum, even in difficult times.”

Many factors come into play when one sets out to be successful at design, programming, or any business. Here is a list of what I consider to be the most important aspects of running a successful business.

1.) Knowledge Is Power: Feel free to become an expert in your field. Whether it's design, web developing, programming / coding, construction work, whatever... know what your doing. Your clients will come to you because you are the expert. Don't disappoint them. By becoming an expert, you will shine in comparison with your competitors. And that, from a business perspective, is the best light to be in. So take the time to learn everything you can about what you do.

2.) Treat Your Customers Right: I once had a boss who told me on a daily basis, 'Alfred, these customers pay our salaries.' He was absolutely right. Without customers businesses are nothing. One of the most important factors in business is servicing your customers properly.

3.) Set Proper Expectations:  This can fall under the Expert and Customer Satisfaction sections. It is of the utmost importance. Clients can be a lot like children sometimes. Not in a bad way, but often they don't understand what a job might entail, the scope of work, etc. Set proper expectations.

4.) Take Control: Once again, you are the expert. There is a reason your customers come to you. Sometimes you need to take control of a situation and guide your customers to completion. I find that in the design / website business many customers are really anxious to get started, but they may only have partial or vague ideas about their final product.

5.) Provide Quality Work: This one really goes without saying, but you can be the best businessman on the planet with great customer relations, but if you are unable to deliver a quality product it won't take long before your customers spread the word.

6.) Honesty Is The Best Policy:  Never lie to your customers. Do not be shady, always be honest. 100% on the up and up as they say. There is no better way to ruin your business' name than lying to your customers.

7.) Do The Grunt Work:  I come in contact with so many designers and coders who think life should be like this: kicking back, working when they want, projects flooding in because they're so awesome, etc. I'm not sure what planet they're living in, but that simply isn't reality for most. So many designers, coders, web developers get into the field because they want more freedom.

8.) Be Consistent:  Your clients expect to be able to depend on you. Unless they can, they won't trust you with their business. Many things fall under this category. Be consistent in your services, pricing, the works.

9.) Be Professional: One thing I notice a lot of people doing is 'leveling with their customers'. That's a good idea on a few number of circumstances. But your customers aren't looking for a buddy to do their project, they're looking for a professional.

10.) Love What You Do:  This last point I think is very important. It's incredibly difficult to be motivated for very long if you're not actually interested or enjoy what you are doing. The thought of making money can only carry one so far.

Conclusion.... You probably noticed if you read through the entire list that most of them focus on customer satisfaction and your relationships with your customers. I find this is of the utmost importance.

1. He's not afraid to be proven wrong.
2. In a business deal, he does an outstanding job explaining what's in it for the other guy.
3. He praises and constructively criticizes people equally.
4. He's friendly with "rivals."
5. He hires people smarter than him.
6. He pays his employees well – through pay incentives.
7. Lastly and most importantly... it's not about the money.

1. Princess Juliana International Airport (Saint Martin):

Princess Juliana International Airport serves Saint Maarten, the Dutch part of the island of Saint Martin. It is the second busiest airport in the Eastern Caribbean. The airport is famous for its short landing strip — only 2,180 metres/7,152 ft, which is barely enough for heavy jets. Because of this, the planes approach the island flying extremely low, right over Maho Beach. Countless photos of large jets flying at 10--20 m/30-60 ft over relaxing tourists at the beach have been dismissed as fakes many times, but are nevertheless real. For this reason as well it has become a favourite for planespotters. Despite the difficulties in approach, there has been no records of major aviation incidents at the airport.

2. Courchevel (France):

Courchevel is the name of a ski area located in the French Alps, the largest linked ski area in the world. It's airport has a certain degree of infamy in the aviation industry as home to a relatively short runway, with a length of 525 m (1,722 ft) and a gradient of 18.5%. It's so short that you have to land on an inclined strip to slow down and take off on a decline to pick up enough speed.

Who gets to land here? Well, Pierce Brosnan made the short list. This was the airport used in the opening seen of Tomorrow Never Dies. For the rest of us, private plane, helicopter, or charter are the only ways to go, and your pilot is going to need some serious training before he or she is allowed to land at CVF.

3. Madeira Airport (Madeira):

Madeira Airport also known as Funchal Airport and Santa Catarina Airport, is an international airport located near Funchal, Madeira. The airport controls national and international air traffic of the island of Madeira. The airport was once infamous for its short runway which, surrounded by high mountains and the ocean, made it a tricky landing for even the most experienced of pilots. The original runway was only 1,400 metres in length, but was extended by 400 metres after the TAP Air Portugal Flight 425 incident of 1977 and subsequently rebuilt in 2003, almost doubling the size of the runway, building it out over the ocean. Instead of using landfill, the extension was built on a series of 180 columns, each being about 70m tall.

Be a Leader / Responsibilities of a Good Leader.
« on: May 10, 2012, 11:12:07 PM »
A good leader can make the task easy and he has the power to initiative the the employes. A good leader has some responsibilities in any organizations or any others sectors. The main 7 Responsibilities are given below -

1. Set and achieve business goals: A leader thinks about the future. You have to have a vision and set your goal based on that vision. You have to be clear where the business is going in 5, 10 even 20 years. It is your task to see the future and set your goal based on that. You have to set the goal and mission for your business.

2. Innovate and marketing:
Innovation and marketing bring in customers and sales. You have to be good at marketing and set an example to other people. You have to be constantly thinking of new ways to market and improve your business to bring in more sales and revenue. This is the 20% of business activities which result in 80% of result.

3. Solve problems and make decision: Everybody has problems and crisis all the time. Instead of getting angry, upset and blame other people, you should be solving the problems. A leader is a good problem solver. You rise in life as you develop ability to solve greater problems. The bigger the problem you can solve, the more money you make. So rather than complaining and being upset, start thinking about the solution and taking action.

4. Set priorities: You only have certain amount of time each day. Your task is to decide what to do first, what to do later and what to not do at all. You need to stop doing things of lower value and concentrate on more important tasks. You have to make a list and decide what is more important.

5. Focus and concentrate: The ability to focus and concentrate is the hallmark of successful person. Focus means you are absolutely clear of the most important thing to do and concentration means you discipline yourself to focus and work just on that. Single minded concentration is the most important factor in your success.

6. Set an example: Everyone is watching you. You are setting the tone for your business. Everyone is observing you and following what you do. Ask yourself a question, what kind of organization you have when everyone in the organisation is just like you? Always imagine you are watched even if no one is watching.

7. Perform and get result: Result is everything. You need to be clear of all the results you can get, what is the most important result. In term of marketing, your most important result is sale. It doesn’t matter how many leads or potential customers you get, if you don’t make sale, you have no result. You have to very result orientated.

Our Parents / Importance of Parents............in all childs life.
« on: November 17, 2011, 07:53:11 PM »
Parents are very important to a child’s life. They influence children in many ways. Including how they act, talk, walk, and the way they act around other people. Even when the children grow up into adults, they still adapt some things that the parents do.

The reason that even when kids grow up to be adults, they still adapt things from their parents is because they need to grow on something. Moreover, if they have kids of their own they are going to go to their mother and ask her how she raised them.

Even now, the younger generation always looks up to the older generation for advice on their own kids. Without parents, we wouldn’t know how to grow up and raise our own kids. Even animals need parents; a calf needs its mother just like a human needs his.

I would like to use this platform to thank my parents to make me what I am today!!! Further I would like to thank God for giving me such wonderful parents!!!
