In every foundation day, students are given rewards for creative projects to encourage them in their respective fields. We students also present some creative projects from our respective fields but we are not judged in proper way. Our projects are not judged as the way they should be judged. As a result the result is always questioned.
This year, we, Dept. of ETE presented some real and creative projects like Live TV broadcasting, Air Compressor, I.P.S. and U.P.S. in a single device (2PS) and best of all there were no dummy or fake project not even imaginary. They all were real. These projects are very reliable and cheap. Furthermore they have the ability to take position at some National Level Project Fair.
In the TV broadcasting project, there is an easy way to telecast a LIVE TV PROGRAM in a very small cost, I don’t think this is a joke. But alas, we saw we were no match for the Rice, Mango Juice and ketchup that are brought form the shop while are shown by some dept. and got a position. Same thing happened with us, Dept. of ETE, in last foundation day.
What I don’t understand, is this our fault or just giving the prize to the new depts. to introduce them in the university and outside?
If fault is ours, judges should tell us what were lickings in our projects, which are so realistic, cheap and necessary. But if the fact is last tow concern then why should we do creative things when we feel there is no proper judgment?
This question is for related authority.

Akta golpo boli: real golpo.
At 2009, we were attend at IUT project fair. we are very much confident with our project but when joudge came out then we thought we are good for nothing. Because they joudged us zero to hero of the point. so our thought was wrong. they guided us with the proper way. and so we found our faulties.. Next two year after at 2011, we again join that fair at IUT and make our dream true, but unfortunately they have found one thing that we didn't show our circuit board. only showed the output. that's our fault for not getting the 1st prize. the Honorable VC of IUT has said that was our only fault. otherwise all project, concept was outstanding. so.....think where we are.....we dont want to match with IUT, only want to match the concept for judgement....
This is our univeristy... we want to say all of the authority to show up the judgement result.. because our future knocked us for doing something good. is that judgement was 100% real or Fake?? is their any form to maintain all of the judge for comment? is their any head of the judi board? Is their any .....any....??
If you (authority) want to say that,this result will not show up to you because this is a prestice issue for the judge, then we ask you how a teacher can see his/her own judgement(evaluation) report where student can did it in their class...???

Nothing to say about the judgement. we did a successful project thats a great opulence for us. we again prove that we can do some innovative creation. we have the potentiality to do something despite we don not get any inspiration from our judgement team.
ETE dept. are the invincible with our respectable teacher which enriched our department to do more exciting creation.

Dear Students:
Thank you all for cooperating us to celebrate the very successful 10th Foundation Anniversary, which was mainly intended to satisfy our stuents- you.
Yes, you people endeavoured a lot to place some very realistic projects in the ETE Stall. We are very proud of you guys, and hope to see you more vibrant in future.
Now comes the turn of recognition, you must agree, all our departments who took stall performed very professionally. In fact, all of the stalls may get appreation for their effort. All of them (including you) would defend their attempt as the best from their perspective.
The judges panel had a very hard time to declare the winners. There was very close fights among the departments to reward the best. The total marks were very close. You see, the judges could only award "couple of winners" in all the positions (first, second & third). The judges had to consider the visitors opinions too.
It is not possible to please every one at a time. Sometimes, it may happen in every field that, top favourite may not be the best!
For you, we should say, your projects have drawn our attention. Foundation Anniversary is not all. There are lot more programs ahead (like Project Fair, Science Fair, Business Festival, next Foundation Days, etc.) Please keep your effort up. Work further on your projects if any furhter development can be added. Take assistance from your teachers. All scientific developmets have come through a long way and time. Be positive and patient. No invention goes in vain and without appercition.

Authority understood your feelings.
Actually foundation day "Departmental Display" item intention is to display/highlight each department with its own characteristics. For innovative/ creative projects DIU arrange different events regularly.
Authority are well informed/aware about the creativity, innovation of our students in different departments and proud of these.
To highlight these hidden/ silent talents DIU is going to arrange a grand project fair on next June ( will announce officially very soon) where all the department will participate and everyone will see the glimpse of DIU talents in different area.

We, people always tend to think from our own point of views. If you always think from your own point of views, then you will never be able to be successful. “Failure is not fatal, it call be the stepping stone to success, let ‘the failure’ work for you.†“Failures are our best teachers, they are the mirrors who show us our real face.“ Insallah you will be the best in the next competition. You should have the mentality to accept the failure even if you think that the result was not fair and justified.
Every successful man has failed, not once but ‘ several times, in their life, but they analyzed the things in real perspective and tried again with more vigor and zeal and got success. Failures should not be allowed to create frustration, desperateness or disappointment, instead failure should be taken as a boon which give you strength to fight back with fierce fortitude and invincible zeal.
Abraham Lincoln failed very many times in his life, but never got frustrated and fought with more determination, with full devotion and became the President of America. Our freedom fighters saw face of failures not once but several times, but never daunted or became desperate they all had fought to attain the sacred goal of attaining freedom, and as a result, they attained it.
Please don't think too much about the marking or evaluation criteria. Respecting judges and their decision are also part of your learning. You can either be defeated or discouraged by failure or you can learn from it and analyze the pros and cons of failure, remove them and endeavour again with all your strength and energy, u are surely gonna get success in future.
