« on: November 26, 2010, 08:34:23 PM »
Ethical inquiry is crucial for all media workers – and managers. It encourages
journalists to examine their basic moral and political principles; their
responsibilities and rights; their relationship to their employer and audience;
their ultimate goals. Self-criticism and the questioning approach are
always required.

Law / Rule of Law & Access to Justice
« on: November 26, 2010, 12:10:03 PM »
The legal system can play an important role in supporting poverty eradication by helping poor people to access the appropriate mix of rights and remedies. However, laws that discriminate against, or ignore, the rights and livelihoods of the poor can pose serious obstacles to the eradication of poverty. In such contexts, law and justice sector reforms can provide the foundation for protection and incentives to enable poor people to realize the full value of their human and physical capital.

Bangladesh is receiving a huge number of orders from international buyers as they have been shifting their orders from China in the age of financial recession.some international buyers like Sweden based IKEA, a global giant in home textile business, has already opened its liaison office in Dhaka to make any business deal directly with manufacturers.At the recent inaugural function, the IKEA’s local representatives said it would raise its purchases from Bangladesh, mainly home textiles, to 300 million euros from 100 million euros in the next few years.

« on: November 25, 2010, 08:31:40 PM »
 16 december 2010; Bangladesh will celebrate her 39 th birthday. Already she(Bangladesh) has passed a long way.In this period we can find many change here.our economy is developing.we are going educated.but the change is not enough what we have expected. Because our political clush.it is very odd thing that our political leader are not practicing clean politics.they behaves as a child sometimes.they have no rigth to do that.because we the people of Bangladesh elect them to servive our country not for own benefits. I just want to say please love our country,feel the emotion of our people & do the work what can help developing our country..then we can reach the target. So, my request to the political leader please realize heartly.."amar sonar bangla ami tomay valobasi"

But you know most of the villagers are not aware about this issue.so, at first gov. have to take some step to know about this issue to the villagers.then the villagers can realize the importance of this issue. I don't say only say only gov. do the work.i just say gov. will have to take some steps where we the people of our country will play the better role.

English / I had a dove
« on: November 24, 2010, 12:35:17 AM »

I HAD a dove and the sweet dove died;
And I have thought it died of grieving:
O, what could it grieve for? Its feet were tied,
With a silken thread of my own hand's weaving;
Sweet little red feet! why should you die -
Why should you leave me, sweet bird! why?
You liv'd alone in the forest-tree,
Why, pretty thing! would you not live with me?
I kiss'd you oft and gave you white peas;
Why not live sweetly, as in the green trees?

Debate Forum / Importance of Logic
« on: November 22, 2010, 08:18:05 PM »
Logic is a way of learning to think and communicate clearly and coherently. In daily living, clear and coherent communication is essential to efficiently accomplish anything which involves the participation of another. While one can come to basic understandings between parties without logic, the greater the lack of an understanding of logic by one party, the greater the likelihood of miss-communication and it's undesired results.

A person who can not think logically will have to be swayed emotionally or socially instead of intellectually (intellectual positions requiring an understanding of factual conditions, which are then weighed). Daily, they become, therefore, unwitting accomplices of superior orators, con artists, etc. rather than being able to assess and evaluate specific proposals on merit. Therefore, their own interests (if they fleshed them out) are less likely to be proposed on their behalf, but the interests of those who emotionally/socially compelled them.

At the minimum, I want to know my beliefs, why I believe them, and act correspondingly. Logic, I believe, is essential to being able to accomplish this in daily living.

please post your comment also..
