Telecom Forum / Download Windows 7 ISO (Direct Link)
« on: April 04, 2013, 08:10:06 PM »
Sometimes our installer disk crashes and we need .iso file to re-write on DVD or in a Flash Drive to install our operating system. To do that we need to download one from internet, there are some lengthy way to download or just one link to download a file.

Let us give you a direct download link for Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate Edition (32-bit and 64-bit). The links are officially from Microsoft’s server hosted at Digital River.

One thing for sure, this is not cracked version of Windows 7 SP1 but its fully official edition which you can use it freely for 30 days. Once the evaluation period ends, you’ll need to use a legitimate / valid activation key code. If you are seeking cracked version, please go elsewhere.

Below there are all 3 version of windows 7 (for 32 and 64 bit) are listed with download link.

Telecom Forum / C++ Compiler for Linux mint/ Ubuntu (g++ compiler)
« on: February 06, 2013, 03:06:08 AM »
Students who are bound to do some programming and people who love programming but uses Linux Mint or Ubuntu does not get the Turbo C/C++, Borland C++, Code Block etc software.

Dont worry I'll give you two ways of installing C++ compiler in Ubuntu and Linux mint (Online and Offline). For C++ programs you can use G++ compiler an advanced compiler with lot of features.

Online:

To install G++ type following command at command line.

sudo apt-get install g++

But this does not include the library files. So you better use the offline installer files.

Offline:
First of you better download all three files
1: http://adf.ly/404973/g-47
2: http://adf.ly/404973/g-4-3
3: http://adf.ly/404973/libstdc

Though all of them are debian files don't get excited and double click all of them. install them through terminal to get perfect result.

1> Go to Terminal

2> Go to the destination folder(where the files are currently present now).
[ like if you have kept them in a folder called g++ at desktop then type "cd Desktop" and to reach g++ type "cd g++". So now you are in g++ folder.]

3> Type and enter(One by one). if it asks for administrator password provide it:

sudo dpkg -i g++-4.7_4.7.2-2ubuntu1_i386.deb

sudo dpkg -i g++_4_3a4.7.2-1ubuntu2_i386.deb

sudo dpkg -i libstdc++6-4.7-dev_4.7.2-2ubuntu1_i386.deb

Now you are ready to use C++ in your Linux Mint or Ubuntu.

In next part I will give a small demo about how to use this C++ compiler as there are no code box to write into like windows to before execution. See you in next part.

NB: during installation it may show that there are errors, don't worry they are perfectly installed. Chill.

Foundation Day / Project Issue of Dept. of ETE, Foundation day 2012
« on: February 04, 2012, 11:18:21 PM »
In every foundation day, students are given rewards for creative projects to encourage them in their respective fields. We students also present some creative projects from our respective fields but we are not judged in proper way. Our projects are not judged as the way they should be judged. As a result the result is always questioned.

This year, we, Dept. of ETE presented some real and creative projects like Live TV broadcasting, Air Compressor, I.P.S. and U.P.S. in a single device (2PS) and best of all there were no dummy or fake project not even imaginary. They all were real. These projects are very reliable and cheap. Furthermore they have the ability to take position at some National Level Project Fair.

In the TV broadcasting project, there is an easy way to telecast a LIVE TV PROGRAM in a very small cost, I don’t think this is a joke. But alas, we saw we were no match for the Rice, Mango Juice and ketchup that are brought form the shop while are shown by some dept. and got a position. Same thing happened with us, Dept. of ETE, in last foundation day.

What I don’t understand, is this our fault or just giving the prize to the new depts. to introduce them in the university and outside?

If fault is ours, judges should tell us what were lickings in our projects, which are so realistic, cheap and necessary. But if the fact is last tow concern then why should we do creative things when we feel there is no proper judgment?
This question is for related authority.
