Title: Remembering Syed Shamsul Haq on his 2nd death anniversary at DIU

To mark the second death anniversary of Syed Shamsul Haq, a versatile writer of Bangladesh,  a remembering program titled ‘Respect and Remembrance of Syed Haq’ held at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University on 30 September 2018. Organized by Daffodil Literature Club.The program was addressed by Mr. Syed Abul Moksud, renowned columnist and researcher as the chief guest. Mr. Ditiyo Syed Haq was present at the program as special guest. Presided over by Mr. Mahbub Pervez, Convener of Daffodil Literature Club and Head, Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, the program was also addressed by Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head, Department of Software Engineering, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director, Students Affaires, Dr. Binoy Barman, Associate Professor, Department of English, Habibullah Pappu, one of the founder of Daffodil Literature Club and Md. Rokunuzzaman Rokon, founder President of Daffodil Literature Club. The program was conducted by Khondokar Mahir, General Secretary of Daffodil Literature Club and Syeda Nourin Ahmed.

Addressing as chief guest Syed Abul Moksud said that Syed Shamsul Haq was a versatile talented person. He wrote continuously. He had tremendous skilled on the field of fiction, poem, essay, drama, song, novel and many other things. Bengali literature has been rich by his lot of literary works.

While addressing on the program Mr. Ditiyo Syed Haq said that his father was a hard working writer. He wrote daily through routine. He never stop writing despite of the barrier of life. Even he writes the previous day of this death. His only and only one thinking was writing. He added. In the meantime he gave thanks to Daffodil Literature Club for arranging this program
