Digitization has created space for new business models in the fashion industry. Looking at other design industries (specifically film industry) and the business models that emerged through digitization provides a lens for opportunities in fashion. Digital supermodels and influencers are taking over magazines, social media and editorials wearing digital clothing. eCommerce is about to revolutionize with new experiences that will tackle challenges that retailers face currently.
According to Kerry Murphy, Founder of 'The Fabricant', (Amsterdam based digital fashion house), they are going to present the work they’ve done this year exposing the challenges and opportunities their clients face with digital fashion content from their own digital fashion collections to complete digital retail experiences.
