Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University met with Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi, Nobel Laureate for Peace, Visionary leader and Chairperson of National League for Democracy, Myanmar on June 29, 2014 at her residence in Myanmar. During the meeting, Mr. Sabur Khan shared his views and lot of issues and handed over the invitation letter to visit Bangladesh and join any convocation of the university in future. While discussing Ms. Suu Kyi emphasized repeatedly about education which must need to spread to all people and she stressed that for keeping everyone healthy we need education.
She also expressed that as a neighboring country Bangladesh and Myanmar should work together because this geographical location will lead next economical scope. Myanmar have linkage with China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Bangladesh have linkage with India, So total networking is of almost 250 crore people which is two third of world population.
Ms. Suu Kyi accepted the invitation of Daffodil International University and showed her keen interest and willingness to join in future. While Mr. Md. Sabur Khan handed over a souvenir of our Rickshaw she praised a lot.
