English / Re: Believe it, you can do it

In my opinion, academic performance depends largely on one's hard working. One must have a vision and try to do his/her best to keep alive the vision. Sometime, there are some students who have low self-steam (I was one of them and suffered a lot) and can not perform well, but it does not necessarily mean that they don't have the ability to do better in classrooms and exams. They MUST NOT lose their hope.

I can remember one quote from Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp   "Your wish is my command" spoken by the genie of magic lamp. Everyone's heart is saying to them "Your wish is my command". So it is really important to tell your heart "I can do it".

Dear Madam,
It is really an interesting post. I do believe that if this sort of inspiring instance/speech is delivered more and more in classrooms, students especially those who have low self-steam will feel motivated.

@ Respected Mustafizur rRhman Sir, I am always motivated. Sometimes I am demotivated but that doesn't make me stop at a certain point. I try to look my insight. I find the degree of motivation is much higher than the degree of De-motivation.

Thank you Madam. It is a good post indeed. In case of Power Point Presentation, what I think if a presenter uses template related to his/her presentation topic will bring more attractiveness. For instance, if a presentation topic is Anglo-Saxon Conquest it will be better to use a template that shows sea maps.

As PPP is a Visual presentation it is better to avoid Wordiness and should give importance to the visualisation of the ideas using relevant images, diagrams, audio/video clips etc.

Use of Blog / Re: Power and energy crisis
« on: April 04, 2012, 01:12:43 PM »
Power crisis has become a big issue in our country. It can be reduced if our government takes some steps to STOP CORRUPTION in this sector. If we look at BPDB/REB/PGCB/DPDC, we find there are many projects initiated by the government to fulfill the demand of electricity. Unfortunately, due to the corruption, many projects are not completed according to its plan.

Once I read an article in a newspaper about Ghorasal 200-300MW (2nd Unit) Peaking Power Plant which is a part of Ghorasal Power Plant, one of the biggest power plants in our country. According to the news, the tender of the Power Plant Project had got a company who offered price amounting taka 60 (may be more than this amount) core more than another company. Fortunately, the tender was cancelled because the fact had come to light.

                                                Corruption must be stopped.
