Dear Mr. Riyad:
Your information is totally wrong. Daffodil International University is certainly listed in the latest edition of the International Handbook of Universities. I graduated from DIU and got the offer letter from Umea University, Sweden (one of the largest universities in Sweden) in the Autumn semester-2009. Many students of DIU has also got offer letter from Swedish Universities in this year and they are already in Sweden. Please surf the following link and find the name of Daffodil International University in the latest edition of the International Handbook of Universities:

The link you mentioned in your post is the link of the members' list of International Association of Universities. And you have mismatched the term "listed universities in the International Handbook of Universities" with "the members of International Association of Universities".

Now come to the question of Membership of International Association of Universities. Only four universities of Bangladesh is member of IAU, namely- Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, American International University-Bangladesh, The Independent University of Bangladesh, and Islamic University of Technology. It is the precondition for being a member of  IAU that "the Applying institutions must have graduated at least three cohorts." I hope that DIU will apply for the membership of International Association of Universities just after holding its 3rd Convocation, i.e.,  graduating at least three cohorts.

If you have a good CGPA, strong motivation letter (not required for all university), and fulfillment of other prerequisites, I assure you that you will get the offer letter.

You have really pointed out an important matter which DIU is lacking since its inception. The Question Moderation Board within the Examination Committee is certainly a pivotal factor for ensuring a fair and cheating-free examination system. I hope that the system will be introduced in DIU very soon under the guidance of our reputed faculty members and scholars.

But it is mentionable here that Erasmus Mundus Scholarships are granted for the students of some selected universities worldwide which have approval from European Union (EU)  under the Erasmus Mundus project. So far I Know that there is no university in Bangladesh under Erasmus Mundus project. You need to know / Open Question Regarding a Feeling

Suppose you are employed by an organization. It is you who have given the direction by your boss that “scrutinize, verify and check all the papers/documents before getting the approval from me. And if you find any application/document submitted incomplete or without proper official formalities, don’t receive this for further processing and return without any hesitation.” One day, an employee of the top level management submitted an application/document by his office peon in your office for getting the approval of it from your direct boss. Whenever you were receiving the document, you found that it was incomplete and submitted without some backup documents without which your boss will not approve it. For bearing this in your mind, you phoned the applicant that “Sir please submit the backup documents without which it might not be approved.” After hearing your comment, he/she fired with bad temper and made some bad comments regarding your office/authority and put down the receiver with anger (without completing the talk). It is just like the closing of doors before a beggar. What would be your feeling at the moment? What would you do at the same time?



N. B. It is mentionable here that some incomplete documents have already been refused by your boss submitted before and he reminds you again “don’t process incomplete documents.”

Bravo and Congratulations to the athletes of Daffodil International University for the outstanding performance in 34th National Athletics Championships of Bangladesh. Daffodil International University achieved  3rd Position in this national event with 4 gold and 3 bronze. The  Gold Medal Winners of DIU are:  Hazera Akhter (Shot Put),  Enamul Haque (5000m), Hazera Akhter (Javelin Throw), Sathi Parveen (High Jump). A total of 692 athletes -- 531 men and 161 women -- from 81 teams took part in the meet.
