BBA Discussion Forum / Scholarships and Awards

In our university we have many awards and scholarships for the students.Such as Dean's list, VC's list, Best student of the year and so on. These awards are given on the basis of CGPA.Those students who have highest CGPA are getting these kinds of awards.

This is highly appreciable but at present (in a competitive environment) CGPA is not only the indicator of best students or getting awards. Now a days Co- Curriculam activites are very important.This is why the Authority should consider the Co- Curriculam activities of a students while granting scholarships or awards. The contribution of a students in his/her department, club activitis, participation in workshops and seminers, Forum activities should also be strongly considered to select the best student,VC's list and Deans list.

There are many students in the university with the CGPA of 3.60-3.70 and they are participating in different program and thier performance is leading the branding of DIU.They also desrves thier recognitions.

Business Festival / Co-Curriculam Activities And Participations

Business Festival is one of the Mega event of our University.This program is very important for the students specially for the Business students.Through this program the contribution of the Business students to the branding of the university is identified.Like the measurement of EVA of a company we can measure our contribution as an individual department with this mega event.I think Business festival is the most effective for the Business students to reveal their IMAGE.

For the first time CDC & DIUBEC jointly organized the Business Festival -2010.Though it was first time for DIUBEC in organizing such a Mega event,they have come successfully and that is really remarkable.In this regards,we are all thank full to our Convener, Advisers ,Executives and members of DIUBEC.
They love this university and their sincerity to their commitment led the festival to a successful one. 

Each contents of this program was very marvelous and significant. Without this kind of program it was quiet impossible for the students to meet and share the ideas with  different apex body from the business world.The contents of this festival were the tools to justify ourselves weather we are fit for the competitive business world or not.
